The hotel was perfect for a retreat or group. Everyone at the hotel was so nice, kind and professional. Their breakfast was a great way to start the day. It’s up at the top of a hill and you can walk up to a town above or walk down to the main road. It was perfect.

We had a lovely stay from start to finish . Breakfasts were amazing fresh fruit salad a must , nothing was too much trouble. Sitting outside in garden for breakfast delightful too. We arrived late at the Villa but were warmly welcomed by Rodrigo and enjoyed a drink at the Bar before going to our Room. Room spacious with a lovely view of Lake Garda from our Balcony. Would also like to thank Reception staff for sorting out an item we left behind at our previous hotel this had a satisfactory ending so thank you so much . We were sad to leave and had a very early am departure , A special thank you to Rodrigo for looking after us so well such kindness we were so grateful for Early Coffee and before we left with a amazing items to set us on our way and we enjoyed at Verona Airport before our flight back to UK .We would not hesitate to stay again in the future . The Pool was a delight not too busy and very clean Towels provided . The walk to Lake Garda no problem.Once again thank you for making our Holiday to Villa Sofia a memorable one. Paul & Caroline

Very clean and peaceful hotel. good location but be warned it is an uphill walk from lake and quite steep. Short uphill walk to old village. Breakfast selection is good. Pool lovely and rarely many people around the pool. Suitable more for couples than family. Lovely stay with helpful staff.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with generous sized rooms and immaculate gardens. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the simple lunch menu was delicious with generous portions. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly and made this the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Thank you.

Hotel located in a historic villa in a stunning location overlooking the lake and convenient parking. Beautiful swimming pool and common areas. However, the rooms are a little too dated, the furnishings old and not too comfortable (see TV position). For the hotel's name and standard, it lacks a proper bar and a really good room. Excellent breakfast and in general great kindness from all the staff

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights 20th - 24th September 2022. The hotel was lovely, it was very traditional but very clean and a great 4 star stay. There is a car park right at the front of the hotel which was great. We didn’t sit by the pool but it looked busy in the day, with (in my opinion) a reasonably priced drinks menu - €7 for an aperol, which was only slightly more than aperol in bars in gardone. The breakfast was great - everything you would need and coffees made to order. The staff made our holiday as we had a few questions and needed to organise getting to places as we were in Lake Garda for a wedding and they could not have been more friendly. The room was very spacious, the bed was huge, well stocked mini fridge for a drink, massive bathroom with all toiletries, and when I asked about using laundry for ironing they provided me with an ironing board and iron instead! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the lake, and although a little bit more expensive than some other hotels, we definitely had a great experience and it was worth the money!

Greatest little hotel. Very quit area, near a lot of interesting restaurants. The Pool and surrounding area is very nice with sunbeds and free bathtowels. The staff was vey very friendly and helpfull.

Firstly, the hotel is in a great location. It’s is a 10 minute walk down to the lake with a number of restaurants to choose from and access to the lake ferries. Also, 10 minutes up the hill you find the beautiful village of Vittoriale, which was a great place to chill over some great food and drink. We had a room with balcony overlooking the lake which was perfect for an evening drink. The room itself was a decent size and spotlessly clean. Whilst we didn’t spend so much time at the hotel during the day, it was great to relax by the pool after a days sightseeing. I think what really makes the hotel though overall is the staff that work there. Everyone we met was both professional and friendly and really helped us enjoy the holiday.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel dopo una visita al Vittoriale, raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi o in 2 minuti di auto. Personale gentilissimo e molto comodo il parcheggio gratuito a disposizione dei clienti. La struttura è pulita, bellissima e molto ben curata. La colazione continentale è abbondante e variegata. Se soggiornate nel periodo estivo potrete fare un bel tuffo nella piscina. Altra cosa da non perdere la terrazza panoramica vista lago
