Hotel Centrale

Hotel right on the lakeside, some of the staff a little surly. Our room was at the back of the hotel but we had the best night sleep and the whole of the water front was quiet at night. Air con in all rooms with a safe. Lots of little bars, cafes restraunts.

Wow good luck if you go with Rail Discovery’s all inclusive at the time so we were sold We’re given tokens for drinks 3/4 of a pint they really new how to work that pump believe me ,very clean no problem with cleaning staff But there so tight on food felt like school dinners same food every night just changed around

Looking for somewhere that offered the basics at the start of our holiday I was pleasantly surprised on our arrival. The hotel was set just off the main thoroughfare of Garda town the hotel offers good rooms, clean and everything you need. Comfortable beds and pillows ect. I would note the room was a little warm at night but this is not the fault of the hotel as there was recent decrees regarding the use of of conditioning, maybe a fan in the room would help. The room had a nice balcony overlooking the seating area. Decent WiFi. Plenty of towels which were large clean and soft. Breakfast was serves until 930 each day with stock constantly refilled. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Excellent staff, lovely meals, clean and comfortable. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was that the lift was very small and slightly temperamental. Short walk to the lake. No pool but could use another hotels if you wanted. The atmosphere was very comfortable.

A small hotel with 40 rooms set back from the lake On a quite street, we spent 7 nights here and have just returned home. The rooms have effective air conditioning (a real bonus with temperatures up to 39c during our trip) and well equipped bathrooms with great showers. The beds are comfortable and we really couldn’t fault the efforts of the housekeeping staff who clean and replace towels daily. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful and always ready with a smile. The hotel only provides a breakfast service and that is high quality with an extensive range breads, cheeses, meats, fried and boiled eggs along with nuts, cereal and fruit - something for everyone really - (this may be dependant on the season) that said there is a great restaurant across the road and many good places to eat elsewhere in Garda so no hardship. The location is quiet, 5 minutes from the lake, ferry terminal and shopping area. There is a pleasant bar area off the reception area an ideal spot for l beer whilst watching the world go by. Though there is no pool You can use the pool at the sister hotel an easy 5 minute walk away. All told the Centrale is a good choice for a relaxed but comfortable base to visit Lake Garda and recommended

This hotel is set back from the town and lake, but this is a bonus as it is quiet at night and literally 5 minutes walk level walk from both the town and lake. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with the best air conditioning! The staff are all very friendly and do an excellent job. There is a small bar and a patio area for breakfast. The main dining area is also used for breakfast and dinner. Food is plentiful and of very good quality. There are two pools that are free to use at their sister property about 10 minutes walk away. The pool that we used there was adequate, but needed cleaning around the edges and there were a lot of loose tiles and general scruffiness, not the best. This should not discourage you from staying at hotel centrale as you have beautiful lake Garda moments away for you to swim in! The bus staion is 5 minutes walk away and fares are incredibly cheap to visit all the different towns, amazing. We would stay here again definitely as it truly was a friendly, comfortable, clean place and an excellent experience. We would NEVER travel with rail discoveries again, it was a nightmare. We would fly here, Verona airport is also served by the buses that run every 30 minutes, so easy.
