Comfort Inn - Gander

I had a great stay at Comform Inn! The breakfast was lovely, the location was convenient, and the team was friendly. Highly recommend!

I spent 2 nights at the Comfort Inn in Gander. Very easy to find and conveniently located. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Furnishings in the lobby looked updated and there was seasonal decor placed tastefully around which I found inviting. When I opened the door to my room, it smelled clean. The musty smell that I usually associate with motels were not there! The carpets looked fairly new and relatively clean. I was assigned a room with a king-sized bed which was really comfortable and the pillows were wonderfully soft and supportive. The room came with a mini fridge, a coffee maker, television, writing desk, the usual furnishings but they were clean and well maintained. The television remote control was put into a plastic wrapper to show that it's fresh! The bathroom had a large counter area to place toiletries and the plumbing looked quite new. The bathroom is one of the cleanest bathrooms I've used in a motel. Shower provided Shampoo and Conditioner attached to the shower wall which was convenient if you forgot your own. There was a large glass water container with a faucet just around the corner from my room where you could get fresh, cold lemon water and complimentary coffee was available every day until 11:00 pm. Complimentary breakfast was served every morning from 6:30 to 9:00. It was a buffet which consisted of scrambled eggs and bacon (or sausage) Waffle maker and batter dispenser, cereal, toast, muffins, and yogurt. Fresh coffee, orange and apple juice. I can't really think of anything to complain about. I would definitely stay there again.

Convenient place on the TransCanada. Dated but comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Free laundry. Pods available for purchase. Breakfast was very goo with lots of options. Just what we needed as crossed Newfoundland. Close to the North Atlantic Aviation Museum

I am sorry for the delay in posting this. Last month I had the good fortune of staying at the Comfort Inn in Gander. NL. It could not have been nicer! The place is very clean and offers a superb mattress and top line sheets. Breakfast is included. This hotel is conveniently located right on the Trans Canada Highway and just across the road from the incredible and interactive Aviation Museum, which could be its own destination point. That experience exceeded every expectation of mine. Saving the best for last, I must commend the outstanding staff for service above and beyond. I was treated like a queen and spoiled royally. A special shout out to Wayne and his lovely wife, Sue for reaching out to me and making my stay so memorable and enjoyable. I am truly grateful to them and want to take this opportunity to thank them publicly. So, I highly recommend the Comfort Inn in Gander, if you should happen to find yourself there!

Tv remote was in plastic, so no germs Breakfast 6:30-9:30; coffee & tea in the evening Suite on ground floor - #152. Spacious. Could hear people walking above - but didn’t notice when we were sleeping. In the morning I heard doors closing and people walking, in the hall. It has separate shampoo & conditioner in the tub/shower, which I like. Breakfast was a nice spread; waffle maker with syrup for them - no whipped cream, etc. Apples, yogurt, scrambled eggs. Bacon one day and mild link sausage the next. Coffee maker in room. No safe. Reception staff were very pleasant.

Really nice hotel, conveniently located at the Trans-Canada Hwy. Our room was quiet though, we didn't hear the Highway at all. Very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Our room was quite spacious and clean. Breakfast was good also. We'd definitely stay there again, thank you!

Wayne at the front desk was wonderful. Warm greeting, very knowledgeable and showed us around. The room was clean, big and bright with a great large shower. Will look for Comfort Inns in the future for stays. The breakfast was very good with eggs and waffles.

Our plane was diverted to Gander due to weather. The airline put us into this hotel. We found the front desk staff super friendly and ready to welcome unexpected guests. Our room had a very comfortable king-sized bed with amazing sheets! The room was large and clean with a modernized bathroom. Other than a squeaky air conditioning unit, the room was perfect. There is an attached restaurant but it closed at 1000pm, the nearby Mary Browns is open until midnight. Breakfast was the normal choices of scrambled eggs and sausages, cereals etc. This hotel proved to be a perfect solution to our unexpected night in Gander.

Wonderful experience from checking in to check out. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms. Would stay again and definitely recommend. Whether crossing the island or touring central Newfoundland. Jungle Jim’s restaurant attached and lots of restaurants close by.
