Gorgeous hotel, beautiful cafe and fantastic kind and friendly staff who go over and beyond for their customers. Paige was an absolute gem and was so helpful and accommodating to me. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in this hotel. Definitely a 5 star hotel. Thanks for everything Paige.

Location of this Hotel is fantastic, so close to the Latin Quarter. That’s where it ends! There is limited parking outside the hotel to set down and check in. Parking is at a public car park 200m away at €11 per day. After a long day of travelling we were looking forward to a good nights sleep. When we pulled back the doona we were amazed to see the bottom sheet did not cover the mattress and topper (which was stained) it was like someone had short sheeted the bed. As it was quite late we decided to go to bed and have the bed sheeting changed the next morning. We advised reception the following morning that the bedding was not right and the lovely receptionist seemed very surprised and offered to have the bed sheeting changed immediately or whilst we were out. We opted to have bedding changed whilst we’re out, 6 hours later we got back to our room to find that the room had not been cleaned or bedding changed! Went back to reception to ask when the bedding and room would be attended to and was advised that room cleaning was done in the evening however a new sheet would be sent up to our room. It is unbelievably that the wrong size sheet would be put on a bed in the first place!! The hotel is under renovation which we’re not made aware of at time of check in. With trade contractors working throughout the day which is totally acceptable what is not acceptable is having to walk past paint pots, used plastic drop sheets, dirty laundry trolleys and housekeeping trolleys left in the passage ways to get to the lift. The noise of the contractors talking and working was very loud at times. Perhaps the hotel should not allocate rooms for bookings near to where works are being done.

The hotel was in a great location- wasn't sure from the map. Parking was not very far either with good rates at a local car park. Plenty of breakfast options and coffee all day. The staff were friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. They had a great library room too.
