Friendly staff particularly Amadella who always went beyond the call of duty and always with good humour. The rooms were beautifully designed and our room had partial seaviews. Breakfast was good and served by friendly helpful staff. Common areas were well thought out and quirky. The roof terrace was wonderful for sunset drinks. Location wise couldn't asked for better and less than a 10 min walk from the port car park. Highly recommend.

A small boutique hotel which was once a monastery a then a prison, overlooking the sea. We had a quiet cell room on the ground floor. Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean. Breakfast is on the roof where you have a lovely view over the sea. Good range of food for breakfast.

Absolutely perfect hotel. Staff incredible, polite, attentive and always at your service. Perfect room. Perfect location. Breakfast at the terrace with fantastic sea view a fantastic experience. This hotel could be 5 star. Never been to a nicer place in Gallipoli. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel! The location is just excellent - close to the beach, numerous restaurants and in the nicer part of the island; clean and spacious rooms. The reception was very friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of good tips! We got also very good help with parking in the hotel's private garage which otherwise could have been quite challenging in Gallipoli. The rooftop terrasse at the hotel is breathtaking! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

On the island, so like everything. Set along the outer ring, many rooms have views. The room was updated and comfortable. Parking is in the public lot by the port, as I assume all parking for any of the locations in Gallipoli are. We were able to park in front of the property for about an hour to unload, so the off site parking really wasn't an issue. Breakfast was plentiful.

I was so happy that I booked this place, as it’s situated right on the sea front. As we arrived for our four day stay the weather changed to 28mph winds horizontal rain and temperatures of around 15degrees not good for a mid May stay!! Our room 23 had the most fabulous view of the sea from its two sets of French windows, so even though we couldn’t venture out too much we were captivated by watching the waves crash along the rocks . I can’t imagine how we would have gone on if we had picked a hotel without views. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and couldn’t do enough for us organising a taxi to our next port of call, nothing was too much trouble. I would definetly recommend this lovely immaculately clean boutique hotel .

Our stay at Bastioni San Domenico was really great. The staff was very kind and helped us with any request we had, we particularly would like to thank Verdiana. Beautiful room and location. We will definitely go back there.

Great location, but while the lobby and launges are beautiful, 4-star style, the room and breakfast are no more than a 3-star hotel at the most. From reading the reviews and from peaking into other rooms (three rooms on our floor were empty with their doors wide open over the two days we spent there) it seems that room-quality varies greatly. Admittedly, we did not reserve the room directly, as we we were on a pre-planned self-guided bike tour. We got room 16, a rather small room with a a preaty but very uncomfortable and tiny armchair... We arrived after a bike ride in the rain on a cold day in April. The bathroom had no heating, no place to hang/dry wet clothes, no place to hang even the hand towel; only two knobs for the wash towels... Breakfast was standard 3-star. The granola was great, but only one type of cheese and two kinds of cold cuts were offeted, both behind the counter! You had to ask for them! When served, you got one tiny, thin slice and had to make a point if you wanted more... embarrassing! Only one type of bread was offered, and when we there was only one slice left! More bread arrived when we were leaving... To sum up, a 3-star level hotel.

we liked this place but it was like visiting your old auntie decoration wise. Large rooms and really good bathrooms. Very decent restaurant across the street. Staff is helpful but minimal, kind of just like the rooms, minimal.
