I had a wonderful experience staying at this hostel. The place is clean, tidy, and well-maintained. We stayed in the Beer Room, which has three bunk beds, comfortably accommodating up to six people. The room was fully air-conditioned, making it very pleasant. The shower area was spotless, and there’s a convenient communal kitchen where you can make your own cup of coffee. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality from the owner, management, and staff—they were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hostel also has a restaurant offering both dine-in and takeaway options. The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place to any foreign travelers visiting the Galle area on their Sri Lankan tour. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and great service!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Snooze Station on Saturday, December 8, 2024. The hosts, Yoshaan and Elaine, are a wonderful husband-and-wife team who go above and beyond to ensure every guest feel welcome and right at home. The property is rich in history, featuring the iconic 100-year-old Sydney Pub, which has witnessed everything from colonial times to tsunamis and now the vibrant revival of the tourism industry in the South. Snooze Station is clean, incredibly safe, and serves some of the best authentic Sri Lankan food you’ll find. The location couldn’t be better—it’s conveniently situated right next to both the bus and train stations, making it easy to access. Plus, it’s just a hop, skip, and jump to Galle Fort, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. It's a must stay if your planning your visit to Galle.

It is a safe and clean environment. Old world charm with modern amenities. Cosy bunk beds and double rooms too. Food was delicious . It was a very nice experience. Conveniently located to the railway station and main bus stand. Walking distance to the cricket stadium and the fort. If you’re lazy to walk a minute by tuk. Will be my go to place in Galle.
