The Rockwall Boutique Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for a week and our experience was absolutely amazing. We were welcomed so generously by Sana and Brasad. We felt at home. The service is impeccable and they take care of everything. Thank you so much for an incredible experience. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little piece of paradise with 6 star service. Thank you also to the gardener Suranji who always had a keen eye and showed us the coconut trees and flowers. Just one word: Marvellous! We will miss their smile ! Lisa & Gabriel

Total luxury from hotel rooms to communal areas Pampered at every opportunity. All staff happy to help , nothing too much. Special thanks to Prasad and Chamaty who kept us fed and watered with the most delicious food Overseen by Sulo the manager. Cannot recommend it enough. We’re going back !

The hotel was lovely, right on the beach front. All the rooms have a balcony and face the sea. The staff were really attentive and super helpful. The gardener brought us fresh flowers every day. They reception always greeted us with a smile when we came down to reception. Special mention goes to Prasad the maitra'd who served us our meals and drinks. And arranged a candle lit dinner by the beach in the beautiful gardens. Also head chef Harshake who tailored our food just perfectly. Not forgetting the hotel manager who always came to chat and ensured our stay was perfect.

We were so well looked after whilst we were here at Rockwall. Prasad the waiter and barman, and Harshake the chef could not have done more to make our stay wonderful. Prasad ensured we had everything we needed, and Harshake even did us some cooked to order food. Great service, great food, lovely environment.

We had an amazing stay here and were very lucky to have excellent weather in the off season. We had half board so dinner and breakfast everyday at the hotel, all of the food we had was amazing and the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. One of the staff we regularly spoke to was Prasad, who was extremely friendly and did everything he could to ensure we were happy. His service was excellent and he gave us recommendations on where to go and what to do. The general manager also gave us great recommendations of where to go and even the offer of accompanying us on a river boat safari which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is right on the beachfront and the staff are more than happy to setup sunbeds anywhere you want and make you feel comfortable. We had the beach to ourselves which was lovely, we even spoke to a few locals who were very helpful and advised us again on what to do and see.

The Hotel is amazing … the location on a beautiful empty beach, the garden and the pool surrounded by palm trees, clear waters to swim in … the spacious rooms with a classy atmosphere… the delicious food … and especially the wonderful friendly staff, always helpful, always caring… the outstanding life guard Sana, who provides insights into the sea and the waves, takes care for the guests and has always a friendly word and smile … and Prasad taking care of the drinks and food. The only thing to consider end of march are the high waves due to the season.

We had a wonderful 5 nights here at the end of our touring holiday. Right on the lovely quiet beach and all rooms faced the sea which was spectacular. A perfect end to a perfect holiday. The 5* decor was matched by the 5* service. The room was large, well equipped, comfortable with a sea view. The staff made this hotel even more special, from the reception through to the restaurant staff, to the bar staff to the pool attendants and the cleaning staff everything was done to make our stay fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. The lady who served us coffee and waited on the tables was lovely and worked really hard and always had a smile. We love all Sri Lankan food and once we had spoken with the kitchen staff aboutour love of Sri Lankan food, they went out of their way to prepare us special fish curry and dahl just how we like it - hot and spicy! There was great choice of food and everything was freshly prepared and of the highest quality especially the seafood dishes. The Pool attendant Sana was a really sweet guy and we loved our daily chats with him. The bar manager worked really hard all day and always had service with a smile. The staff were fautless and a credit to this hotel. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend this hotel - its fabulous!

The rooms are fabulous with very comfy beds, the staff are fabulous and cater for all your needs. The food is incredible especially the breakfast and evening meal. The walk along the beach first thing in the morning is wonderful, just gazing out on to the Indian ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friends and family visited Rockwall for 2 nights It’s an amazing place with good clean beach front. Quite large, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice pool and great bar. The rooms are furnished well with wood and rock finishes to them. The service is very good with great hospitality. They have a small gym facility as well. The beach is clean and can have a very nice walk or jog in front. However having a sea bath right in front may not be safe. If you walk 200m across there is apparently a place to have a sea bath.
