Wonderful place to stay in a great location from which to explore the Galle Fort area. Lovely hosts and a very delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Very comfortable room - the shower was ok but a bit variable. Overall, highly recommended for a stay in lovely Galle Fort. Excellent value and hospitality.

Very clean room. Nice communication prior to arrival, and very welcoming on check-in. Cold drink provided on check-in. The room feels is a little small, mainly because the bed is vast. In a perfect location in the Fort area, with the restaurants all within minutes of walking. Would highly recommend for a nights stay.

Great stay here. Staff are very friendly. Room was nice had everything we needed, especially air Con and mosquito net. Few bugs in the room but no worries there. Fantastic location.

For the price paid, this is an excellent room, albeit a bit of a low ceiling because it's in a gorgeous old colonial building. If you decide to stop in Galle for a night to chill in the old city, this is a perfect location and comfortable place to stay.

All the positive reviews of this place are justified, everything was basically perfect. The location is right in the heart of the Fort but a little away from the busiest street so its quiet. The rooms are presently beautifully and everything is clean. Hot water, fan and aircon are all great. The common areas are nice and have a book exchange shelf. The breakfast is enormous and delicous, very good value. The only reason I did not have it both days is that it was just too generous! The staff are very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Only thing I would mention is the narrow staircase in to the property. For most people no problem at all, but for someone with limited mobility this might be an issue.

A beautful colonial era house converted to a comfortable b&b with all basic amenities. The rooms were clean, the place well maintained and at a walking distance from all the tourist spots in Galle Fort. They also provided us with access to a kitchen for tea and coffee. Great stay!

Mrs Wijenaki’s was a great place to stay in GalleFort. Comfy, clean rooms with a/c and fan, a verandah to sit on and read or chat to others, and very friendly and helpful staff. Fauzan, the manager, is approachable and as a family member he has lots of useful info and advice if you need it. The breakfast is absolutely delicious! We recommend this place highly.
