Fairfield Inn & Suites Galesburg

When traveling through Illinois on our way to Indiana, we always choose this hotel as our overnight stop. It is reasonably priced, clean, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. We’ve had nothing but great experiences while staying here. It is what you expect from a Fairfield in a smaller town.

I cannot express how wonderful every single person I encountered here was! They were so nice, accommodating and pleasant. The room was fine. Basic rooms with basic amenities but the staff was phenomenal and tried to make everything superb!

We were blown away by this hotel from the beginning. We walked in and received fresh baked cookies straight from the oven and free water bottles. I had booked directly from the web site and everything was in order. It took about two minutes or less. The room itself was very clean, especially the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the room was fairly quiet. Lots of updated plug-ins for every type of electronics. The part that really delighted us was the free breakfast. One of the very best free breakfasts I’ve ever had. Cage free eggs, fresh sausage delivered straight from the kitchen to our plates. All kinds of toppings, sauces, and fruit compote options for the waffles, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and granola. There were typical continental fare, a selection of coffees and teas, etc, plus a fridge stocked with breakfast sandwiches and lots of to go options. The woman running the kitchen was very kind and helpful and kept everything very clean. We were very very pleased with the value of this hotel.

Functional and attractive interior public areas (breakfast/lounge) and room. Everything in working order. Pleasant and efficient staff at check in and checking out. The exterior of the hotel and parking area should be cleaned up--there are weeds and overgrowth and the parking lot needs some work. It does a disservice to the hotel as an accommodation

Rooms and general hotel grounds were very clean. Had a bad stay across town the 2 nights prior. Comfortable room and recently renovated or very well kept up. Only bummer is that the hot tub is out of service, but daughter got plenty of use out of the pool.

Best hotel in Galesburg I have stayed at almost all of them in Galesburg and this one is the best by far. Customer service is great, room is very nice and they’re serving hot breakfast. A+ Restaurants are close to grab dinner and it is a very quiet hotel.
