It reopen from juni 2024 with new management. Totally renovated. I stayed her for my holiday. Amazing view, Nice and with styl decorated rooms, Great, friendly and helpful staff. Food is good. They make you feel special and welcome. Good place to stay and explore Madeira

Of all the places I have stayed( and they are many) this takes the top price. Staff, surroundings and not least a very young and skilled chef makes a huge effort to accomodate all wishes. Highly recommended. In june they are still working on getting everything up to level, but even before finnishing, the Quinta is impressingly good. I cant wait to come back

The room, the food and the staff was perfect! They cleaned the room everyday and at breakfast we had sooo much choice! The staff was very friendly!

How is the location of the hotel for people with walking difficulties , want to stay but concerned about steep hill at location , noted that there is a local bus stop near by ..................................................................

Everything fabulous, staff were exceptional. Mr Silva, what a character! Great to have met him. He knew me as "White Wine". Great holiday! Food was fantastic, would highly recommend, would love to go back again at some point!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A wonderful accommodation experience in Funchal. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience beauty, views, coziness and food experience in the middle of the city.

Well the hotel was very nice, the water in the pool was hot, the staff was kind and the view from the terrace was amazing. The food also delicious. The one thing is the fact that the hotel may need some renovation, looking at for example bathroom in the room.

I can see that some of the comments are totally outdated. The hotel reopened in June under the name of Quinta Funchal Garden. I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel. A homy atmosphere, Beautiful views, amazing gardens, great breakfast and menus offered for dinner. Also I can only commend the staff who were at all times caring and attentive to the clients needs.
