THE TOKI FujiKawaguchiko

This is not a hotel, is a 3 level Villa with a rooftop overlooking the Mount Fuji. The place is very remote not advisable for someone do not have a transport. The villa is huge and there are 4 beds. 2 at level 1 and level 2. Rooftop is open air and can do BBQ though need to pay a rental of 50000yen per person. The bathroom is very clean and nice and overlooking at Mt. Fuji. After all , is suitable for a big family stay, and the place is not cheap. I book it for the experience and the appealing factor of able to overlook the Mt. Fuji.

This a wonderful guest house where you can enjoy a stunning Fuji view through your bedrooms. The staffs are super nice.

My mother and I stayed at The Toki for three nights in mid-April, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Everything about the property felt thoughtful and comfortable. The hotel is about a kilometre from the station area, and they make this commute effortless with a shuttle service running multiple times an hour between the station and the reception. Since the villas are set on a steep slope, they also shuttle guests up and down between the reception and the villas, which was incredibly convenient and much appreciated. When we checked in, they had a Mount Fuji-shaped chiffon cake waiting for us in the dining area. It was delicious! One of the things we loved most was the breakfast service. Each morning, breakfast was delivered directly to our doorstep; at check-in, we were simply asked to choose our meal from the menu and select a delivery time. Great way to start the day. They also offer daily housekeeping, and if you choose to skip it on any day, they give you coupons to use at the little shop near reception, which stocks food ike cup noodles, cakes, chips, nuts etc., and fun souvenirs as well. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful, and their excellent English made everything especially easy for us. The villa itself was outstanding. Ours had completely unobstructed views of Mount Fuji from every window on both the floors, including the bathroom, which was amazing. Waking up to those views each day was unforgettable. The sunny, clear days were a huge bonus. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and there was even barbecue equipment for the large terrace. The villa was impeccably clean and equipped with every amenity we could possibly have needed. We had a truly fantastic stay at The Toki, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable stay in Kawaguchiko.

I have to say we are so glad that we chose this hotel. The house was super clean and has basically everything you need as a house (well, except for laundry and drying machines). My wife and I truly enjoyed the salt bath with the breathtaking scene of Mount Fuji. We enjoyed making coffee and our own breakfast in the house. Walkable distance to the train and bus stations and restaurants. If you like a full scene of Mount Fuji at a reasonable price, this resort hotel could be your best beg.

The place is very clean and equipped with a lot of amenities. The view of mount fuji is very good from the rooms. The staffs are very friendly too!

Excellent stay! Place is clean and comfortable. All amenities are provided. Great view of mt fuji but unfortunately it was very cloudy so we didn’t not get to see it. But will definitely recommend it

We had a truly wonderful experience at Toki. The place is stunning with thoughtfully designed spaces that immediately make you feel at ease. But the real highlight is the view-breathtaking, expansive and almost surreal. With a scenery like Toki there’s no need to explore other crowded and busy sightseeing spots (unless Mt. Fuji is so shy to come out).

I recently stayed at The Toki Fujikawaguchiko and it exceeded all expectations! The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking, unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji right from the villa and you can enjoy it from the balcony, rooftop terrace, and even the bathroom in some rooms. On clear days, it’s picture-perfect! The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, with fluent English that made communication effortless – a huge plus for international travelers. They were attentive, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome. The facility itself is super comfortable and modern. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, which was perfect for preparing our own meals. Everything was spotlessly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a luxurious, private escape with incredible Fuji views, friendly English-speaking staff, home-like comfort, and reasonable pricing, The Toki is the place. We’ll definitely be back! 10/10.
