Hotel Marbella

We booked this hotel just for 1 night as a stop over, you can't park outside if you have bags, it seems to be a hostal rather than a hotel as stated on booking, we didn't get a sleep due to the couple next door constantly banging literally sex for them nearly all night long, then the noise of others going into their rooms, walls are so thin, we couldn't wait to get checked out of there, the staff are very friendly and helpful so no reflection on them and the room was clean and tidy. Would definitely not recommend it though.

I am a supporter of the independent, the small guy. I also like to explore, hence when at large hotels I use very little of the facilities I have paid for. Hotel Marbella is a small local hotel, literally metres from one of the many restuarant areas and 7 mins walk to the beach. In the opposite direction is a busy local shopping area is again just mins away. The train station is walking distance and the coach transfer drop off point (Hotel Casa Consistorial) is 5 mins walk. That said the hotel is very quite possibly due to being on a pedestrian street. No noise pollution and believe every room has the typical, traditional mini balcony you find in most town houses with air conditioning. The hotel is basic, very clean and has just about all the necessaries, hair dryer, mirror, TV, chair etc plus a safe (free of charge). Daily bed making, and sparkle. The reception is 24/7 and the staff are helpful, friendly and speak good English. They do serve a breakfast but it is pastries, fruit juice and coffee for an extra few euros. There is a sun deck on the roof which is small and although has tables and chairs could do with some loungers. I really enjoyed my stay, meeting other guests English and Spainish, the location is brilliant, everything is a very short walking distance including the weekly market. The restuarants are conveniently located and Fuengirola is a lovely town to visit.

Had 3 days here in room 35. Reception staff are really nice and very helpful. The room was a proper Spanish room and quite rustic. It had a fridge, small balcony and a good shower, along with a free safe. You can purchase a small breakfast for €3.50 on the day if you wish . The hotel is in a central but quiet area which makes a change from the larger more expensive and noisy hotels on the beach front . I will no doubt return and would not hesitate to recommend.

This hotel was very well located in terms of everything. Very short walk to beach, restaurants, bars, etc. The room was clean and comfortable, basic as it is a hotel/hostal but the staff were very helpful. We arrived slightly earlier than the check in time and went straight to the room. We had an ensuite and a balcony. Would definitely go back and recommend for the value and location.

Hemos estado 2 días. La ubicación es inmejorable, está en zona peatonal, a un paso de todo, de bares, de tiendas, de la playa.... recepción 24 h. colchones muy cómodos y ropa de cama limpia. A mejorar: -se escucha todo de las demás habitaciones -apenas hay mobiliario, 1 silla y una mini mesa -el baño necesita reforma integral: grifos del baño oxidados, bañera vieja y sucia, la puerta del baño no cerraba porque estaba hinchada por el agua que cae de la bañera -solo había 3 jaboncitos de manos, no había gel, ni champú -había 7 o 8 toallas pequeñas de manos, pero ninguna grande para ducha -wifi no funciona en las habitaciones Y sobre todo a mejorar el precio !!! excesivamente caro para lo que es. 135 € por noche en una habitación triple. Seguro que hay mejores hoteles y muchisimo mas baratos. No volvería.
