Premier Inn Frome

When in the UK, we always trust that PI will have a quiet, clean, private, and comfortable room waiting for us. We always recommend PI and the PI in Frome was no exception. Easy check-in, pictures of the room on their website were exactly as they were in-person. Love the Premier Inn!!

Stayed in a standard room. Good size. Clean room. Poor WiFi speed and connectivity. Room was noisey being on the end of the block nearest to a busy road. Hotel was next to a Beefeater restaurant where the hotel had an arrangement for food for guests. Breakfast was poor because it was self service. English breakfast items kept warm under lights. Food was dry. Other Premier Inns cook food to order. This is the way to go. Evening meal had a rib eye steak which was tough and cold. We complained and the manager was very sympathetic and didn’t charge for the meal. We have had good meals at Beefeater restaurants this was not one of them.

Good and comfortable, all aspects of the room clean and well maintained, very comfortable bed, and a proper size bath. Plenty of parking around the hotel. The downside . Beefeater, this has to improve, the breakfast overcooked and dripping in oil. Apparently I am not the only one complaining about this restaurant

Stayed a couple of months ago and all was good however this time the room was dirty and sticky...water left in the kettle, bath unclean with a big lump of hair in the plughole !! We did report it to the very friendly lady on reception who did apologise but it was not good enough.

Great location for what we needed, free onsite parking a great bonus!! Room comfortable and modern. Beefeater attached to the hotel had a good menu and quick, efficient service. We had room 33 which is a family room on the ground floor, bit of a walk to reception but we didn't mind!

Great location and nice hotel. Amazon locker right outside was handy to collect a parcel whilst i was away from home. Rooms are standard premier inn so as expected, the bathroom was very modern and 1 of the better premier inn's I've stayed in. Car park was busy but seemed big enough. We arrived late but check in was quick and easy. We were told breakfast was a buffet, which it turned out not to be. The service in the beefeater restaurant is not great at all, it's very rushed, they don't even let customers sit down before trying to take drinks and food orders. We observed this at both breakfast and dinner and was the same for every customer. Breakfast was overcooked and tasteless, probably 1 of the worst I've had at a premier inn. Dinner was to be as expected but let down by the service. Also the server forgot our drinks and then lied to us saying they were on the way, the receipt showed the time, i'll accept its an easy mistake, just dont lie about it. Overall an average stay, would stay at the hotel again but probably wouldn't bother with the restaurant.
