Nancy and Mark were absolutely charming hosts at this beautiful B&B. Our group of four girlfriends spend four nights while visiting Freeport and the surrounding area. The rooms were nicely appointed, the beds, sheets and pillows comfortable. The common areas were welcoming (especially the lovely front porch). The B&B was well located, easy to find and easily accessible to local sites we wanted to visit - but the most exceptional part of our stay were Nancy's breakfasts! Nancy obviously has a passion for cooking and it translated into wonderful menus and tasty recipes- The grapefruit brûlée was my favourite (and I don't really care for grapefruit!) . Besides the breakfasts it as also nice to come home to find the makings for tea & coffee, plus a small refrigerator filled with water bottles waiting in the lounge, and if the timing was right, fresh baked cookies. A lovely stay - I'd certainly return and happily recommend.

Stephanie, Keith and family were so kind to share their lovely home with us! Everything was comfortable, thoughtfully decorated and prepared. We felt welcome, had everything we needed, and enjoyed quite a few games of pool. Lots of thoughtful touches like fresh cookies each night, and access to beverages at all hours. There were places to sit and read, chat, play games or work on a puzzle in progress. This BnB is a short walk from downtown Freeport and a short drive from Bowdoin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the hosts were kind and welcoming. We definitely will be back!

The Kendall Inn is an inviting and welcoming place, quiet and conveniently located. Stephanie and Keith are very accommodating and hospitable. The breakfasts are huge and delicious! She accommodated my dietary needs (GF/low dairy) including the cookies every night... We will definitely return if we need a place to stay in the area!

Our stay was so wonderful and we were very sad to leave. The family who owns and hosts is kind and hospitable, easy to talk to and ask questions, relaxed and flexible--we just liked them so much! The breakfasts were luxurious, and the fresh-baked cookies every night were irresistible and quite a bonus. They put a lot of effort into making the stay enjoyable. The house is beautiful, and all the furniture is real antique, tastefully chosen, high-quality and in great condition. Some b&bs feel like they are overdone to feel super quaint or cutesy-- this one just feels like a real home. Also it is a real deal to come in February-- it was beautiful and snowy, and there is a great coastal hike nearby, Wolf's Neck State Park, which was accessible even in the snow.

Homey and comfortable, this is a classic Maine house. The hosts are helpful and friendly. You will enjoy the aroma of baking cookies during your stay and when they are finished, you'll get a text from Stephanie to come and get some while they are warm!

The Inn was easy to find, day and night due to sign and lights. The house and room were cozy and charming. We stayed in Room 6. The vibe is ‘relax and stay a while’ with sitting areas, games and books downstairs. The food was amazing, served in a pleasant dining area for a variety of party sizes. Baked treats and milk in the evening was an unexpected bonus. We were hit by a winter storm while there, and the host family shoveled everyone out. Within walking distance to Freeport Village, it’s a great place for getting out or lounging inside. Highly recommended.

I stayed in room 7 up on the top floor, which was very comfortable and quiet. I cleaned my plate at breakfast each morning, with different choices each day and fresh eggs from their chickens. They even text you in the evening for fresh cookies and milk. A cozy vibe all around with innkeepers who are present and lovely. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Kendall. Stephanie and Keith were lovely, the room was very comfortable and it is in a great location. We enjoyed playing games and enjoying coffee outside on the porch. The breakfast was AMAZING. We will 100% return on our next visit to the area.

We felt so welcome and the hosts were wonderful with our toddler, despite her being very loud at times! We were staying on our way to our new home in Maine and Stephanie and Keith were really helpful with information on the area and family friendly activities. Always great when the hosts have a crib and high chair available and my husband really enjoyed the games room. Really reminded us of home (Norfolk, UK) as it’s such a warm, friendly inn!
