Can't understand why this property doesn't rate 3 star, everything about it is above average..Very clean and well appointed rooms, king bed was very comfortable (6 pillows!!) the pool was very refreshing on a hot day, breakfast included a LIVE person to cook your breakfast to order, something I haven't seen since pre-COVID..Overall a great stay at an outstanding hotel, no problems and will be happy to stay again

I stay here frequently for business trips. The rooms are clean and I feel very safe staying there solo. Pillows and beds are very comfortable. Staff is helpful and prompt to answer questions. It is an older facility, but it is well taken care of. You can’t beat the price.

Staff at this motel was most helpful and pleasant. Mr.Preston evening desk clerk was so pleasant with our check-in. Clean & Comfortable beds, pillows were firm and the mattress was great. Nice breakfast. Easy check-out. Easy off and on for I95 exit 130 Aor B

We don’t know what happened to this place but the difference from our stay last year at about the same time is incredibly disappointing. The rooms are yellow and dingy, the walls are paper thin. We heard simple conversations from the next room. The bathroom was so small, and it was in a poor state. Calking needs changing, in fact the entire room and bathroom need to be updated, painted and carpet changed. This place went from what was a quaint place to stay overnight to a run down hotel we won’t be staying at again. Our son and his family were in another room and it wasn’t any better. As for breakfast the next morning, there are scrambled eggs, but the woman there leaves her station so often, it makes having them difficult. The rest is ok but I can do without the tasteless coffee. Thank goodness there’s flavoured creamer to boost it up a little. We won’t bother coming back or recommending it.

A hidden Gem in fredericksburg!! Aesthetically pleasing, immaculate rooms , awesome breakfast menu both hot and cold and pet friendly! Lively historic area and downtown restaurants, hiking trails, river front dining and self guided tours.

I really enjoy staying at this BW on my north-south trips. It's in a convenient and quiet commercial and residential location. Very nice brick building houses registration and dining/lounge. 2-story stone and stucco accommodation buildings, interconnected with brick walkways. First floor pet friendly rooms and quasi-residential location for walks makes traveling with pets very comfortable. Front desk staff are always kind. Great breakfast options.

Very friendly staff. Clean and quiet rooms. Pet friendly rooms on the ground floor with a nice couple of areas to let your pup do their business. Good breakfast. Good location. Wonderful clean pool. Would totally stay here again!

We went on our first family road trip and stayed a night at the BW. The front desk was very accommodating and cheerful! The breakfast had plenty of variety and the pool was great!
