Holden Manz Country House

The location is absolutely amazing, easy to access with great views of the vineyards and mountains. The views and the calm sound of river streams and birds were really the highlight. The property is pregnant lady friendly. And the chef and staff are very kind and helpful, wonderful people. It was great to know that the owners live on the estate, you can tell of the extra thought and care put into making this estate really grand. And we loved the in-room floor heating and wood chimney since we were visiting in winter season. Affordable and Highly recommended!

Fantastic if all too brief stay at this beautiful vineyard. The management booked the magnificent Protege restaurant for us as well as organising transports to and from the town itself. Room, no.1, was amazing in size and quality as well as views. Breakfast and picnic excellent too. Thank you, we'll be back.

The most beatyfull setting. Lovely spacius rooms and only 5 of them. Very attentive staff, makes you feel at home. Lovely breakfast a la carte made to order. Loved the honesty bar. Loved the way you are greeted whem you com back or go to the wineestate, like they were waiting for you. This is truely a hidden gem that you must experience.

The experience at Holden Manz was exceptional!! The owners were so friendly and welcoming to their lovely farm. The staff was amazing!!! Breakfast each day was delicious!! Very tasteful decor!!Also, loved their family dogs ❤️ Wine is the best🍷🍷

Holden Manz's country house is beautifully nestled among the vineyards of Franschhoek, surrounded by magnificent mountains. The house itself is stunning, adorned with exquisite art pieces that make it feel like an art gallery—a fitting comparison, given that "Manz" has his own gallery in town. We received a warm and friendly welcome, complete with a welcome drink and warm chocolate milk for the children. The fires were lit, creating an immediate sense of coziness and making us feel right at home. Our family suite was spacious and meticulously maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting at the estate and found the breakfast to be delicious. The common area, where our family could play games together, was a delightful touch. I highly recommend a stay at Holden Manz. It is beautiful in every aspect.

This is really a hidden gem in Franschhoek! A great experience. Calm, beautiful, good and friendly service. Open fire in our rooms and you could also hear the water waterfall through the door in the rooms. Excellent! We also bought some wines from the estate that was delivered to us e few days later to our home after coming home again.
