The Last Word Franschhoek

We recently stayed at The Last Word Franschhoek and were truly impressed by the experience. The décor is elegant and calming, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. The staff were absolutely outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Every interaction felt personal and thoughtful. Special little touches like the turndown service made it special, returning to little treats like crème brûlée and hot chocolate in the evening was such a lovely surprise, and the gin & tonic station in the room along with yoga mat & weights added to the delight. The location couldn’t be better—right on the main street, with restaurants, boutiques, and galleries just a short stroll away. It made exploring the town incredibly easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet relaxed place to stay in the heart of Franschhoek, I highly recommend The Last Word. It truly lives up to its name.

A lovely boutique hotel in Franscheok, which was delightful to stay, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay and take in the sights, and wine tasting experiences.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and the hotel is outstanding. We would highly recommend! All of the employees are genuinely friendly and go the extra mile We stayed in a suite with a pool ( although it was raining most of our stay) but the room itself was very comfortable. They had a lovely turn down service & the breakfast was very, very good! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of Franschhoek, put this hotel at the very top of the list.
