During our recent stay at the Franklin Marriott Hotel, my girlfriend and I experienced a significant privacy breach that raises concerns about the hotel's security measures. On April 14, 2024, an unauthorized individual accessed our room using an access card while we were inside. This disturbing incident was compounded by the lack of communication from the hotel staff; not only was there no immediate apology, but the response was merely an impersonal award of 10,000 points, which does not suffice given the gravity of the situation. Additionally, the service throughout our stay fell short of expectations. Key amenities were unavailable, my Titanium member status went unrecognized, and basic courtesy like announcing oneself as housekeeping before entering a room was neglected. While the location of the hotel may be convenient, the oversight in security and guest recognition significantly overshadowed our experience. It's disheartening that a brand like Marriott has not taken immediate and effective steps to address such a severe lapse in guest safety and service standards. I hope that by bringing this to light, future guests will not have to face similar issues.
