Betsy Counts 1/5 Mold filled bathroom - I have pictures to prove it, Look on my google review. I checked in on July 3rd, 2023. I am from Frankenmuth and now live in Maryland. I normally stay at a different hotel but that one was under renovation. I just arrived in time for the Frankenmuth fireworks, threw my suitcase in the room, and left for the night. The next day contacted the front desk to speak with the manager – Trenton Lucier, when I asked to speak with him, the front desk stated he was on his way in. So I waited about 30 minutes..went back to the front desk and then they stated he was on the phone, so I stated.. I will wait! Waited about another 30 minutes, then went back to the front desk and asked to speak with him again. This time, he did agree to speak with me. I requested he follow me to my room #122 to preview the massive black spots on the bathroom ceiling. He stated that they are aware of the ventilation issue - the hotel treats the problem with Kilz and repaints it every couple of months! I told him I wanted a full refund and hopefully I do not get sick from staying in that room. Trenton looked at me and stated I will refund you $25.00! I pray anyone with allergies thinks twice about staying here! I called the corporate office and was told .. Trenton the manager is stating – he did not see anything, amazing how someone can just lie and get away with it? Traveler beware - you will not get anywhere if you have problems with this hotel. Bathroom was horrendous! Sink clogged - black substance on bathroom walls - odor was horrible. Mananger in other responses to my feedback states I stayed extra days, this is not true - he needs to check his records - I arrived a day late! Still denying he saw the mold, but in other responses he states they were going to paint the mold. - just Like he told me! Ewwww
