As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the portfolio. On a recent trip to the Boston area, I decided to try this property since it can be accessed by train from downtown Boston. As is custom, I did online check-in and room selection via the app the day before arrival, opting for Digital Key. It was received before I arrived onsite. All set, I bypassed the desk as Hilton advises. When I got to the elevator, the door closed and my Digital Keey would not activate the elevator. I tried again, but to no avail. Someone else who got on with a plastic key had better luck and I was on my way. The key did work to open my room door. I went down later and requested a plastic key, which worked in the elevator. The room was nice and cool on a sweltering day after a long walk from the Foxboro train station. It was well equipped and had comfortable bedding, and ample space. The "upgrade" I got for being a diamond member was a view of a stadium, which really didn't matter to me. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well with no hot water issues. Temperature was easy to control, and WiFi and TV posed no problems. In the morning, one more key problem. I usually check out on the app, so I left the plastic key in the room when I departed. In the hallway I then tried the check-out function on the HIlton app, but it was not working. And now the Digital Key would not allow me to get back into the room the get the plastic key I had left inside. Instead, I did have to stop at the desk just to verbally check-out, but could not return the plastic key. All in all, it's a great place, smells relatively new, and seems welcoming. It's well located in an up and coming sports and retail area.
