The Old Quay House Hotel

Hadn’t been to Fowey before and think we chose well for the property location. Lovely big bed in our room, 2. It was a very quiet time of year so can’t say if it would have suffered with outside noise. Some of the pubs were shut because of the time of year. We still enjoyed our little break but this is a very small village.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful, clean, quaint, well appointed hotel. Room 12, offered a glorious view of the harbour's activities and was worth the upgrade. We were greeted by lovely, attentive, friendly staff and enjoyed an excellent meal in the dining room on our first night. We particularly enjoyed the tasty cooked breakfast and a big shout out to the Stefan who enthusiastically attended to us when we arrived early to the restaurant one morning. He managed to take our order, serve us tea and coffee and bring a smile to our faces before the day had barely began and then cooked a tasty full English. A great choice for our mini-break away.

I very much recommend The Old Quay House for those visiting the area. The hotel itself was clean and modern whilst retaining character features. It is well placed for local amenities and exploring the town and areas beyond, and the food in the on-site restaurant was delicious and well presented. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and my stay was very enjoyable overall.

Fabulous location and room, great normal menu but - without warning - for our 2 night break we found it was "Steak Friday". Devastated - you don't expect that in a place like this

Just spent a few days in Fowey at this great little hotel. Staff here were very friendly and helpful, Room was large with a good sized bathroom. The location is perfect although it has no onsite parking but you can book a weeks carpark for under £10 which is just 10mins walk away. Breakfast was lovely with a great view of the estuary.

Great location and food, right in the centre of town, great evening meal and breakfast options, bit of a walk from the car park
