I had the unique experience of staying in 2 rooms in one stay. The first good point is that he found is rooms after had, for some reason, booked me for 2023 and I hadn't realised (I made a mock booking after and it automatically gave me 2023 so something's wrong there). Anyway, he gave us a room for one night and another room for the other 2. The first room was tiny, just enough room for us and our luggage, it had a beautiful veranda looking off to the mountains and, if it hadn't rained heavily, would have been nice to sit out. However, I thought the bed was awful and had a terrible night's sleep, the pillows were rock hard as was the mattress. The second room we second room we stayed in was bigger as it was a triple room but overlooked the car park. In this room you could hear everything from the room above, the creaking floorboards and the people talking. My night's sleep was quite good, the mattress was much better. The water was brown, but my wife (who's Scottish) told me it's the Highland peat that colours it so, it may not look great, but it's safe. The breakfast was a choice of Scottish breakfast or continental and you had to make your choices of which, tea or coffee, orange juice or apple and what time, this may seem a little narrow of a choice for some and I don't know if they do vegetarian cooked brekkie. I think this was because he ran the place on his own cause I never saw anyone else and only saw him at breakfast. The Scottish breakfast was nice but was served in a dining room that was a tiny conservatory with 3 tables crammed close together and a little claustrophobic. It's close to Fort William but far enough out to capture the beauty of the Highlands. It was a clean place with bottled water and tea making facilities in the room. So, it was a mixed bag. Hope that helps.
