Travelodge Fort William

As from the minute I entered, the reception member was outstanding and helped when I said I had medical problems. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

It is located above a Wetherspoons. There is no parking on site. We were directed to the large waterside car park where we paid £5 for up to 24 hours. It was a 5 minute walk from there to the hotel. Our room was clean apart from the very dusty vent in the shower. There was no toilet brush. So had to line the bowl with toilet paper. Cleaners going from room to room using the same toilet brush is a bit dirty. Our bed was firm and not the most comfortable. For an hour from 9-10pm, all we could hear was someone walking constantly backwards and forwards upstairs. Then several times throughout the night and early morning, people were coming and going slamming doors, so not the best nights sleep.

had an overnight stay in the hotel. very disappointing to say the least. the room was nothing like the rooms in the photos on the website. room was very small. bed was not king size.there was a pull out single mattress under the bed so presumably it can be sold as a family room.would not like to think that i was paying extra room rate for somebody to be sleeping on the floor. not very practical as the room is so small. if the mattress is in use then the person who was sleeping in the bed at the same side as the mattress on the floor would have to climb on or over them to get to the toilet, not ideal. no hand towels or bath mat in the shower room. after having a shower the floor was very wet and slippy. soap dispenser for the shower was empty. had a room at the back of the hotel and the view was of all the rubbish stacked up outside. surely it could be cleared away. all in all a very disappointing stay.
