We came to Fort Wayne for a funeral and booked a room at this comfort inn north. Checking the room we found a bed bug in one of the pillows. Not a small one either so not sure how housekeeping would have missed it. Went to cancel and they refused to refund the money. Be warned and DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was different. The toilet would not flush correctly, even after used a plunger on it. Luckily we were on 1st floor and used bathroom down the hall. Pool needs some updates as paint flakes where coming up in the poo.. but the service was very nice.

This is a property with spacious rooms, and I give special props to the friendliness of the staff (I felt at home during check-in). The hotel is a little away from everything though, plus I must say it’s a little run down. Although I usually don’t eat breakfast, I decided to check this one out an the options were very poor. All and all, average and OK for a one-night stay.

Overall, the hotel was okay. Staff was nice. The room seemed a bit dated. The furniture looked worn. Bed was comfortable. The issues I saw was the price was rather steep. I paid 150.00 for the night. For the quality of the room, it was not worth 150.00. I would say 100 at the most. Also, this is a smoke free hotel. The curtains in my room smelled of cigarette smoke and it lingered in the room. Being asthmatic, I picked this hotel because it is a non-pet hotel and smoke free. It was frustrating going to my room expecting a smoke free room and that was not the case.

We were on a bus tour and stayed one night. The bedrooms need upgrading. Our room had some maintenance issues. The light fixture above the sink had several bulbs burned out so room lighting was poor. There wasn’t a grab bar by the shower and the bathtub floor was slippery. The light over the coffee area didn’t work. The desk chair was permanently tilted back so there wasn’t a way to sit up straight. The air conditioner fan speed didn’t work and thermostat was off. The bed was fine. The elevator was slow and the inside control panel was loose. Breakfast was as expected. We stayed at another Comfort Inn on the trip and found it to be very good.

Excellent friendly and caring staff. Suite was nicely sized, met all my requirements. Comfortable bed, super soft pillows. Very clean hotel. Food was great. Hotel was conveniently located for where I needed to go.

Location was nice as we were traveling through. Room comfortable and clean. Had a great night sleep as the bed and pillows were comfortable. Disappointed with front desk staff as they were never there. When they were, guests were a "bother". All the ice machines were broken, so front desk staff handed out baggies of ice for our ice bucket. Elevator was the slowest one we have ever encountered (have had broken ones work faster). Larger breakfast area was nice, but staff unable to keep up with coffee pot or hot breakfast items.

This is a great hotel experience; everything is really good here. I was really pleased when I saw how nice the breakfast array was; a whole big bowl of various fruits, a variety of yogurts, pancake machine, oatmeal, Pop Tarts and more. One of my favorites in a while, and I stay in a lot of Comfort Suites. The Wi-Fi is fast here and the service at the desk is great. In fact, they have a spinning wheel where you spin and try to win extra points and I won 500 points there. Pretty creative. And, my room was really nice.

We stayed at the hotel for about 40 minutes. Room was super dirty, sticky floors right upon entry and trash lying around the bed. When we asked to transfer out credit to the south comfort suites they were unwilling to cooperate with us because we booked through a third party site and refused a refund. Manager was rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend
