Fergus Club Carema Splash

We were booked to go elsewhere but got changed two weeks out. We were very concerned after reading earlier reviews. However, we have just returned from a lovely family holiday. We have three kids 4, 8, 11 and the holiday had something for everyone. The location is quiet but perfect for a family with children. The hotel is right on the beach and you can flow between splash park, pool and beach. Although quite hilly no room is more than ten minutes walk. There are lots of stairs so not wheelchair accessible. You can avoid steps but it’s a longer route round. WiFi is accessible across the site but not in the restaurant. Food good and always specials at dinner time. If you are looking for an adult holiday it’s not for you. But if you want family fun it’s great. We had a super time. Always make a point of thanking staff and you can see it meant a lot to them. A emaile and thanks costs nothing. Goofy and team add an extra layer of fun for the kids

Fantastic holiday, all the staff were outstanding, the bar staff were polite, entertainment team were fabulous, and the lifeguards kept my little one entertained all week joining in games with them. The areas were constantly cleaned and the food was always fresh, would definitely return.

Stayed here for 7 nights with family , 3 kids and husband. I am struggling to understand the bad reviews. Lovely hotel with such lovely staff. Nice pool area with a little waterpark if you fancy some slides. Location is out of the way of things but we just got a bus into town which had lovely shops and places to eat. Food at hotel is good, lots of choice. The night entertainment could be better however there is a games room near by where the kids just went in to play on ps while we had a little drink while there was a singer on. I would definitely book again but I would probably upgrade to a bigger room so it was a 2 bed as we only went to a 1 bed but thats not the hotels fault thats just what was on jet2 and we didn't look at upgrading.

We had a great stay here and I think all the negative reviews are really unfair and worried me before arrival. Jet2 describes this hotel as “set on a hillside” so I am not sure why people are surprised there are stairs and slopes. We enjoyed walking to the pool/ dinner. Couldn’t check in straight away as the flight arrived at lunchtime but that’s not the hotels fault and they still let us have lunch. We had a sea view room and on arrival the room seemed a bit dull however it was actually great for sleeping in as it was dark and cool. Staff were great, the place was clean and there was a large choice for the buffet. Some meals were better than others but that’s personal preference. Kids enjoyed the kids club (special shout out to the staff doing the kids stuff, they were really lovely). Evening entertainment was a bit late and not really our thing anyway so we never went so can’t comment on that. The area is beautiful/remote and away from the crowds which is great. The resort didn’t appear to be fully booked so it wasn’t too busy which also suited us. Never a problem getting a lounger/ food/ drink at the bar. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit Menorca.

Nice location , very very helpful staff. All inclusive food was great and as much as can eat. Room was ok but not sure if 4 star? more like 3 star but perfectly acceptable. Air con was poor but as we were there in end of May , evenings were quite cool luckily. WIFI was good.

All staff a very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are like little apartments , rather than a tower block hotel, which gives them a greater sense of privacy and comfort. The downside to this is there are steep paths to walk up to them , which would not be suitable for people with reduced mobility. The alcohol variety is limited, they only had 1 beer which was san miguel but had a variety of spirits available. The main pool was very cold but was ok once you were in and used to it . the splash pool is for children up to about 10 years old and is up a steep hill 30 second walk from the main pool , Bar staff really friendly and continually cleaned up empty glasses and kept the area clean There was not a lot of entertainment during the day , but evening entertainment was good, Kids entertainer Goofy was especially good and made time for all kids. Beach is a few hundred yards away but the sand is gritty and when we went there were lots of flies and jelly fish I would definitely recommend this place and would go back
