Loved our stay at this hotel. I wouldn’t come in March again as it was too cold for the pool. Not everything was open such as restaurants/shops. Hotel was clean, food was amazing! I’m glad we were all inclusive as meals out at restaurants are very expensive. I loved that the hotel had a washing machine so we washed all our clothes before we left. We are definitely coming back in the warmer season as the pool looked great for our kids. Staff are also very friendly

This is one of the best hotels we have been to. The staff are so friendly from the house maids bar staff were great and the restaurant staff .Special thanks to xisco and marcos in the bar. All the restaurant staff especially freddy who welcomed us . with a smile. And all the others who dealt us.Great selection of food every day.

We have just returned from our perfect week at the Mar Hotel in Port de Pollensa and we're already trying to book for a return as soon as we can! We booked a junior suite so that we could stay on the ground floor as balconies give me heart failure, with a 6 and 8yr old! After seeing the balconies here I might be less worried next time - they look very substantial although I loved our room and I loved being on the ground floor. We've never been abroad as a family and we had no preconceived ideas of what an all-inclusive holiday should be and so we were thrilled with our experience. All the staff at the hotel were absolutely wonderful! They made our stay magical. Our children loved the Kids club entertainers, especially 'Paul'. We found everything to be spotlessly clean, with our room cleaned every day thanks to the smiling cleaning staff. You can see that everyone working here puts in their love and effort to make everything the best it can be. I particularly loved the food! I've been dieting lately and had half a mind to resist anything too fattening. It absolutely wasn't difficult here! Everything was so delicious, healthy and fresh! I had a plateful of rainbow colours at every meal and everything seemed very healthy but delicious at the same time. If you do only eat beige food, don't be worried, there are still lots of chicken nuggets and chips! We got our children to try head on prawns; octopus; clams; prunes and pink grapefruit. Lots of things they've never tried before! I think the hotel caters for sports teams so there's always lots of healthy options. The outdoor pool area was spotless in February and enticing. We're a family of very hardy fun-seekers and so the temperature of the outdoor pools in Feb didn't deter us from getting in there and loving every second. There's always the warm and inviting spa pool to warm up in afterwards. I was delighted to find that children were allowed in the jacuzzi and all the other spa facilities at certain amenable times. I had been worried that I'd not be able to enjoy these facilities but we all chilled out together. The children loved the cold blast pool! Be aware that the spa pool is almost 2m deep so non-swimmers need arm bands or looking after. The pool is deceptive and the steps into it don't give anything away. The attendant literally saved our 6yr old boy from drowning by pulling him out while neither of us (his mum or dad) had any idea that he'd be in trouble! Also you'll need a swim cap to use the facilities. You can buy these onsite for about €2.50 but if you can bring your own, even better. We were lucky with the weather in Feb - when the sun was out it felt very warm and even got up to 22°c but when the clouds came over it made getting in the cold pools that bit harder. We felt like royalty throughout our stay. Everything was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. Be polite and courteous to the staff because they all deserve it. We can't wait to return!

From the reception staff; Awa and Salvador, thank you so much for your warm reception and attention, you guys are the best at what you do. To the kitchen and bar staff; Marcus, Paul and the others; thank you for the freshest and most delicious meal. We had a huge variety of meal options and endless drinks and even when the kitchen was closed, the outdoor bar was open with a variety of food and treats for everyone. The pool area was huge; with slides and huge space for kids and adults. the indoor pool was massive for people who preferred the warm pool. To the entertainment team, where do I start from? My kids will not stop singing all the songs from your mini disco shows. you gave us 100% and more. from the Halloween party prep to the tee shirt paintings (WHICH WAS BRILLIANT), the art sessions, the football, the games, you guys went over and beyond to keep the kids happy and gainfully occupied. you guys are simply amazing and we will certainly be returning in the future. We returned yet again for our 5th visit in 4 years, and still the hotel delivers with outstanding customer service! Again the staff at Playa Mar and Spar delivered outstanding customer service. I would like to mention the unsung hero's behind the scenes being the Cleaning and Kitchen staff who need to be recognised and mentioned! The front of house team were exceptionally good, and like to thank Angie for coordinating a great team of staff. I would also like to mention Fredy at the front of house, testing me, and helping me with my holiday Spanish! And will assure you all, we will be back in 2026!

We travelled in April 25. I cannot speak more highly of this hotel and its staff members. We stayed in a premium suite where I had requested an enclosed garden, we backed onto the play park and the garden was enclosed. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. They were cleaned everyday, this was a real highlight and not something I expect even from 5star hotels. The hotel is small which makes for a very friendly feel. The staff work incredibly hard. The weather wasn’t perfect, but this was to be expected in April. The indoor pool facilities were fabulous when the outdoor pool was too cold. We prefer quieter resorts, which this was. Literally across the road from the sea and a beautiful 15min walk to shops and restaurants. The food was lovely, lots of options. The themed nights were also lovely. I’ve stayed in many hotels and the food was some of the best quality I’ve had. We had an emergency while we were at the hotel of which the staff came to our aid and got us an ambulance for our son. The care and treatment of the staff was just amazing. They accommodated our stay when we had to stay for an extra few days (even though they were full). They absolutely really cared for my son and our situation. I fell in love with Pierre Pollensa and the Majorcan people. Some of the friendliest people. Special thanks to the staff, a complete credit. Thank you to cova hotel manager and stefan! There were lots of other team members who helped us that night and asked about our son in the days after, I’m so sorry I don’t know your names. Thank you! We will absolutely be back. A home away from home xx
