Ashdown Park Hotel

Whole experience was lovely, staff were very attentive with us, and we enjoyed our stay. Local attractions were enough to entertain the kids.

這家是一個莊園酒店，外觀看上去就還算不錯。我還是想挑一下毛病：首先是衞生問題，蜘蛛網隨處可見，浴室的角落、房內的牆壁、甚至送餐的菜單裏打開就都有，我理解不了這樣的事情出現在一個所謂高端型酒店裡；服務員還是比較有禮貌的，但是我從房間打電話去前台給我安排第二天的叫醒服務…卻沒有給我辦好；餐廳據聞屬於Fine Dining，從早餐的出品來看…健康，有用心為我做我想要的效果，不馬虎；酒店配備有一個所謂的會所，含獨立的健身房、游泳池、更衣室 （但沒有桑拿、蒸汽），設備並不算完善；另外還有一個休閑的餐廳可供使用健康中心的客人用膳，但咖啡豆的選用就很不行；酒店主樓內、房間內都是相當地悶熱、不透氣，沒空調。¥1670含雙早的雙床房面積也並不算寬敞，沒有小冰箱，隔音不佳，門道外走路清晰可聞…且帶震；主樓餐廳樓下竟然有兩張英式桌球枱可供客人玩耍，這是唯一一大亮點。11點要退房，極其量能緩一個小時，之後就需要收費50英鎊，但並沒有説這個收費能管多久。

Didn't know really what to expect, I booked this as an anniversary night away , from the pictures on the Hilton app and the restaurant sample menu. So glad we did. Staff extremely friendly from the front of house lady who welcomes you into the lounges to all the other staff we encountered. Food excellent, loved the breakfast freshly cooked hot Choices. The evening meal was also very good,the beef with chips and the sauces - yummy. So much to see on the grounds, golf pitch and putt, gym,swimming pool, secret garden. Stunning views. We will definitely stay again, everything was first class. After an awful journey a relaxing time at an outstanding old school hotel.

Wonderful 50th Wedding Anniversary stay. Total luxury and everything you could wish for a stay. Facilities and food terrific, in beautiful grounds with lovely spa and pool. Enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking the lake and golf course and beautiful walks.

fab room I guess we were lucky. Hotel needs to be brought into 21st century. one socket broken no usb, bath did not work room and dining room and others very hot . nice flowers around car park see pic. god knows how the nuns managed! it was an old convent and then a Barclays training camp.

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely night away celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a lovely surprise to see we had been upgraded to a bigger room with a jacuzzi bath. We chose the romantic night away package that came with afternoon tea, champagne and chocolates in room, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast. We also booked a couple of treatments which were amazing and so relaxing. The hotel itself self is beautiful especially the grounds. The staff were helpful and friendly no issues there. Food was delicious in all areas. The room its self was a bit dated and could do with a revamp. My only complaint is the service charges. We were charged a service charge for every service we received which added to nearly £40! Each service we had was part of the package they offered and came with in the cost of the stay. It was a surprise to be greeted with this bill when we checked out so please be aware of this. Also be aware that it is very expensive here! Apart from that is was a lovely stay

Stunning place, amazing rooms, the best staff! I celebrated my British citizenship and a friend’s birthday a few weeks ago and I had the most amazing time, thanks to the brilliant staff. They made us feel very welcome and were incredibly kind and thoughtful. I have been to a few beautiful hotels before but nothing compares to this great team and their lovely attentions. Thank you so much for making my stay, and my citizenship celebrations so special! Our rooms were fabulous. The place itself is stunning, and the afternoon tea delicious, It’s a short drive to the famous Pooh bridge, a lovely, peaceful place in the middle of a gorgeous forest. We had the most relaxing time in this beautiful place and will certainly go back there.

Bitterly disappointed with our room for the whopping price tag. Had I not seen other rooms, I might not have been AS disappointed but I did and I was. We stayed for my partners birthday. I booked two rooms. One room was lovely. The other room (mine) not so much. It was half the size of the other. The view was of a large tree. It was very dark and the lights didn’t work properly. The bath hadn’t been cleaned. The bed is lumpy and uncomfortable. I wanted this to be so special but sadly it wasn’t. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The drinks are expensive. They need more Front of House staff. Two people on the desk for a place of this size is ridiculous esp as there was a large wedding taking place. Very disappointing.

What an amazing stay at one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in. The hotel is steeped in history and the grounds are truely amazing. There is so much on offer from walking the grounds to the snooker room, the luxurious spa and pool. If the weather is good the 18 hole par 3 golf course is fun. We were fortunate to stay in one of best rooms in the hotel but having stayed in the deluxe room previously they are all winners. Clean, tidy and very spacious. The staff are always so helpful and Romeo in the dining area is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met and would be an amazing asset wherever he worked. Nothing is too much trouble, the room service is speedy and spot on. The breakfest is a mix of Buffett and order what you like and I mean they will mix and match anything. If you have the chance please try an afternoon tea, all will be catered to your tastes. If you wish to celebrate a very special occasion I can't think of anywhere better to stay. The only and i mean only thing I would urge people to be aware of is the service charges that will be added to anything you order. If you are not aware they can creep up. Service charge of drinks in the cocktail bar, service charge for spa treatments. Just one to keep an eye too However a place I will always rate 10 out of 10 and have already looked for the next stay.
