Was charged a double hold on my credit card at check-in. I told the person checking me in that I was double charged while she was still checking me in. I even showed her on my Credit Card app. She told me it would fall off at check out. We checked out November 5th and I am still waiting for it to disappear. It is affecting my available credit. I called the CC company and they told me the hotel had to release the hold otherwise it will stay on for 30 Days. I called the hotel four times to speak with a manager, was told the general manager would call me back because “she was unavailable.” I emailed three times and have not received a response. Customer service is not existent from anyone above the standard employees. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times because our son is a student and athlete at Pacific University and this is one of the closer hotels. We are looking at other options, even if we have to drive farther. I am a diamond member for Best Western and it means nothing to this hotel.
