campsite, covered in prickles poor dogs couldn’t get out the van (yes looked for other prickly free spots in unpowered section no option) staff had no idea how to help for 56 bucks it’s definitely a scam rather stay on the side of the road 🤷🏻‍♀️. Wifi only works for rooms would have liked to be informed this before paying. no use in giving campground guests wifi info if not available anyway.

Ghastly site Overpriced dirty & badly in need of an upgrade Security guard at night warned us that we were unsafe Other site in town is closed so this one has monopoly Plenty of frogs in showers that’s ok but huge birds nest isn’t !!! Friendly staff Awful bar food & very noisy ‘Locals’ Not a pleasant experience

Fitzroy River Lodge Do NOT, under any circumstance, stay at this business or for that matter in this town!!!! I would say this is one of the most dangerous Abo towns in Australia. I had my car stolen whilst sleeping right beside it in my caravan. I reported the entire event to the office staff and did not receive so much as a phone call from management. All this after specifically asking when checking in just how dangerous is this town. I was just told not to go up town after dark....absolute rubbish, during my dealings with police, tow truck drivers and others, all types of crime happens every day at this establishment no matter which type of accommodation you are in and Fitzroy River Lodge doesn't give a hoot even though it is one of the most expensive for lodging, food etc. DO NOT STAY HERE, IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND YOU'LL BE ROBBED BY THE NON-WHITES EITHER IN THE BAR, RESTAURANTS OR AT YOUR RESIDENCE There are no security cameras, no security gates, no fencing, no nothing being done by this establishment to prevent crime being committed at this establishment.

I am staying at the accommodation and went to the reception to get a can of Coke Zero and a vanilla cornetto ice cream the guy said that it was $6.50 for the coke and $8 something for the ice cream. I refused to pay that much and walked out. This has to be illegal I will be looking online tomorrow to put a formal complaint in with the consumer protection

Over priced but nice staff Pizza base inedible $29 for a pint and a sav Blanc Gnocchi out of the packet Pretentious for no reason. $44 for a chicken curry??? Seriously out of touch. Perhaps the profits are paying for the non working ladies toilets and closed urinal in the caravan amenities

This was the worse stay during our month stay in the Kimberly When you arrive, reception is behind a really old and dirty door and there no warm welcome check in Our room was a riverside studio unit and it took some effort to reach it Room was spacious , with a terrace and a old worn out jacuzzi Not very clean, kitchen unit and tools inside cub bards felt dirty Bar offers foods, and also the restaurant Since restaurant had a bbq, we went to the bar, where a girl did not speak english enough , so it took a long time and help of a colleague , to understand what we needed Food was….. Main problem was, we did not feel safe . At reception they give you a chain to close off your parking spot !!! Also there a lot of people walking on the terrain , who were not staying in the motel. Really we did not feel comfortable Once here and never again
