Sun Angelos Oia - Luxury Cave Suites

This is a difficult review to write as Sun Angelos apartments themselves are just as they look in the pictures. The sunset is beautiful, the hot tub was fab and Olsi took care of everything we needed. However, what you can’t see is that the apartments are directly underneath the main road into Oia. The noise and vibration were awful, and even with ear plugs we got very little sleep. Had we been aware of this before going then we would have booked somewhere else.

I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough - It is perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Vasilis, Olsi and family took care of our every need and beyond. When we arrived at Oia bus station Vasilis arranged a taxi for us at a considerably lower rate than the taxis parked at the rank. We then checked in, Olsi gave us a quick tour of the apartment and it’s features. Very kindly there was also a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The room itself is very spacious, well build and finished to an excellent standard. The cleanliness is second to none and this is maintained every day when cleaned. Olsi very kindly served us some breakfast snacks each morning. The patio area again is spacious and the view is incredible, perfect for sunbathing. The hot tub is just amazing, the temperature is ideal. I highly recommend sitting in the hot tub at night with a drink in hand, taking in the beautiful surroundings - extremely peaceful. The location is super good. Oia town is a 20 minute walk. There is a bus stop outside the apartments if you want to get the bus to oia which is around a 7 minute drive. Also if you get the bus from Fira then you can get off just outside the apartments - again it’s perfect. If there is every anything you need you can just ask Olsi and he will more than happily help. He really does go beyond what is expected and this is something that you rarely find in places like this these days. I recommend this place to anyone visiting santorini, I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed at the luxury, scenery and service
