This was a checkpoint on the RadRace Tour de Friends - Colombia - Stage 4 - Pereira to Armenia and it is an incredible cycling destination. If I come back to Colombia, this would certainly be top of my list to visit and stay some days to do some riding out of this place. Incredible place.

We stayed 2 nights here & wish we'd stayed longer. Firstly it is in the most beautiful part of Colombia in my opinion, verdant lush green scenery, beautifully colorful Colombian villages, (we visited Filandia & Salento) great coffee, wonderfully friendly & genuine people and great hiking & biking adventures. The hotel itself is incredibly peaceful & beautifully designed to take full advantage of the surroundings. David, Juan & the wonderful team are fabulous hosts; informal, friendly & professional & made us feel so welcome & relaxed. We booked massages which were great & much needed after a Cocora valley hike! Would love to come back & spend more time exploring by bike. Thank you Casa du Vélo team, we loved it.

This review is long overdue. I came from NY to stay at Casa de Velo with my friend from London for four days and we had a wonderful time. The Pulido family, Juan and his sons, were great hosts and Juan even went out to ride with us one day (he's a strong rider and what's more a super charming and interesting racanteur!). The breakfasts were great. The location is magnificent, with incredible views in the heart of Colombia's coffee-growing region. The hotel, the rooms and everything are super modern and clean. The bikes were good. The whole place has a comforting cycling vibe, including lots of interesting cycling books about. We even did some amazing mountain cycling right off the property in some beautiful rural locations. Overall I'd highly recommend Casa de Velo. Gracis a Los Pulidos!

Recently, on a work trip to Armenia, Colombia, a colleague booked us two nights at a small boutique hotel,Casa Du Velo, in the amazing hills near Filandia. Although its niche is biking groups or those who love biking, it was an incredible place for my husband and I to retreat and enjoy the beauty of Colombia. David, was so attentive, it felt like we had our own butler LOL. Our evening meal was like dining in a 5 star restaurant. The service was amazing and rooms were very clean and peaceful. I loved the outdoor patio in the gorgeous gardens outside our room. You must love dogs and cats (actually, one cat, Tom), which we do, as they are a part of the experience. Highly recommend! 10 rooms, so great for groups of all kinds.

We loved visiting Filandia with our family. The hotel was extremely nice. The food was incredible. I'm still thinking about the fresh juice. The owner was responsive to our needs and helped make arrangements for excursions. Bonus, he spoke perfect English. I would love to visit again.

We seek out small hotels in beautiful settings, and this is one of the best we've ever stayed at! The owners, Juan y Laura, are passionate about hospitality and making you feel at home in their home. The design of the hotel is incredible, allowing you to experience the area and take in the view. The menu is fairly extensive for a small place, and everything we had was fabulous. We loved the dogs and cats that live there, the fire in the evening, and the massage was REALLY good. After I left I had to message all the cycling enthusiasts in my life (I am not one) about their need to come here. It was a beautiful and warm experience and we hope to return one day.

Struttura moderna immersa nella natura e pensata per gli appassionati della bicicletta che da qui possono partire per pedalate su strada o lungo i sentieri che costeggiano la montagna. Camere spaziose e ristorante dall’architettura elegante che offre un menu adatto a ogni esigenza. Proprietà e personale molto accoglienti.

Maravillo hotel! Estuvimos visitando la comarca de El Quidío alojados en él, y las habitaciones, instalaciones, ubicación y trato de los dueños y personal inmejorables. A 5 minutos en Jeep willys del pueblito de Finlandia. Totalmente recomendable.

Es un hotel espectacular , en un sitio precioso, con unas instalaciones cómodas , modernas , llenas de detalles para el huésped. La atención es muy personalizada ; David es un anfitrión increíblemente amable , esta pendiente todo el día , te ayuda para planear tu estadía. vale la pena quedarse , y vale la pena cada peso pagado . Es un remanso de paz , en un hotel 5 estrellas ,
