服務；W是六星島嶼服務自然沒的説 從接機到上島、入住再到離開服務員都很體貼，會送我們到值機海關檢查前，上島很有儀式感，各部門經理來歡迎我們，並一一介紹，進房間會有手寫歡迎信，還有歡迎甜點，賓至如歸又充滿儀式感。 設施：作為一個喜歡選新酒店的人來説，覺得設施都很好，衞生間和房間內都有空調，屋內外都有bose音響，泳池晚上有小星星一樣的燈光。 餐飲：幾家餐廳各有特色、標準高自然不會踩雷，普通酒水7-20美金這樣，衹有午晚餐需要點，mini bar裏的軟飲免費。 環境：海水顏色很特別，是淺飽和度的tiffany藍。熱帶島嶼風情濃郁。

畢竟是老牌酒店，服務什麼都沒得説，就稍微老了那麼一點點

Dear W Maldives team, I hope our message finds you well. We have made safely home, back to Dubai and wanted to take a minute to send you our appreciation towards this incredible holidays we were so delighted to spend with you. The hotel is of course fabulous. We did not know the property before the renovation but we loved everything about it. The rooms, the restaurants, the food of course, the reef, the gym, etc but what made our trip truly unforgettable was the team. I feel emotional just typing those words but the warmth and genuineness of each and every team member is the true luxury we indulged in! It will be difficult for me to mention each and every talent that we met and made us feel special but I will just make an attempt because how can I not... So thank you to Celine for your sweetness, John (Ferash) for your local knowledge, Nihal for your kindness, Mani for your smile, Kai and Eham for whom nothing was too much, Claire, Chef Sunil and the rest of the Culinary and F&B for feeding us like royalties, Chunky for educating us on the property, Tendai to whom we are "Thankful", Mani the Photograph for capturing beautiful memories of our stay at the W and Tutu for keeping us on check daily!!! I am forgetting so many other from the Wet team for the fresh Coconuts, the recreation team too who took us fishing, and of course the "Invisible" Housekeeping team always looking after home away from home spotlessly. That's it, time to leave you and get back to reality. Thank you Amila for putting such a team of talents together. We hope to be back soon again but until then, take care all ! Bobby and Salma

This was our fifth stay at the W Maldives and it is a hotel that never disappoints. The renovations they have done are absolutely stunning and wonderfully thoughtful, while still keeping its W charm that keeps us coming back. The reef is unaffected, which was so great to see that it was very important to the hotel to maintain the natural beauty they are known for. The service is just as we remember it to be, which is above and beyond. Our trip is made sincerely elevated by the impressive service standard you receive here. We must thank Chunky, Claire, and Amila in particular for making our trip so special.

Ignore the latest 1 star reviews. This place underwent and is finishing up a major renovation. We were lucky enough to be there on opening day. We did have concerns and were also nervous about it not opening but we did luck out. Ok now that’s out of the way. This place is amazing. Period. I’m not typically a Marriott person but we chose this over the Park Hyatt because we needed to use some points and I’m also Platinum with Marriott and that meant free breakfast and a possible upgrade. We also enjoy the “vibe” of W properties and this was a trip for just my wife and I. Upgraded to the premium overwater and that’s the side you’ll want to be on. The best access to the reef right from your room. Kitchen (restaurant) was our go to for dining. Breakfast is very good. We were amazed at quality considering you’re in the middle of the Indian Ocean. That went for all dining spots. Fish is the seafood restaurant but it was in soft opening when we were there and still needed a bit of menu tweaking. Food was still good. Sip is the bar overlooking the ocean and will be the place to get drinks at sunset. All cocktails and food there are great as well. Wet Bar was our hangout mid day with the resident DJ playing good music. It’s not overdone. Very on point. Every staff member that we had regular contact with new is by name after the 2nd day. We were there for 6 nights. Chunky was our point of contact when we thought the resort wouldn’t open in time and he was great. Made a point to stop and say hi throughout our stay. Snorkeled every day. Did the whale shark extrusion and local fishing sunset trip. Both were fun and we did luck out and see two whale sharks. We didn’t partake in anything from the spa so I can’t comment on that. Many of the staff have worked there for years. Some back when the W was still Starwood. So when looking at reviews keep that in mind. The staff have made this place great and continue to do so.

I have just had the most wonderful break imaginable at this amazing resort - thanks so much to my incredible sister, Christine@ Destinology for inviting me and to all the staff, especially Karen and Constance for making our stay so memorable. Food, service, care, design all 6 star!! cannot imagine anyone not enjoying this place - memories created on the Dolpin trip and the guided snorkelling… thanks so much - I will be back 🏝️🏝️❤️❤️❤️
