酒店很有文化也很有味道。訂了豪華套房,給了整個酒店一樓最角落的套房,又黑還不能拉開窗簾,外邊緊鄰泳池,人走來走去。估計是全酒店最差的豪華套房,物無所值。

Arrived from Oberoi Marrakesh, and what a let down! A "5 star hotel", the lamp and the lights were all difficult to control with multiple switches to go back and forth that were not explained during our intoduction. The television was difficult, almost impossible to manoeuvre with 2 remotes, several channels missing. The shower was small with water spilling out on to the middle of the closet area, the service was sub par at best and the staff less than courteous compared to the other at Marrakesh, the property was close to the Medina so that was a plus. We did not bother with room service. Overall disappointing, we were certainly hoping for a better experience for what we paid for!

This hotel was an absolute disappointment from start to current. I am writing this during my stay as I am absolutely fuming. After a long 8hr drive to Fes we checked into this “5 star” hotel. Our prepaid, pre booked, non refundable room was somehow not available and we stayed in a temporary room for the night. We asked for a glass with ice for some sparkling water we brought along with us but this was not available as all restaurants were closed. I was puzzled to say the least, as many hotels offer ice at any given time (e.g. Rove hotel downtown Dubai 3 stars). I then called the front desk for in-room dining but this service is not available 24/7 (“5 stars”). The next day we were offered the room we booked and as soon as we moved in (2pm) I requested an extra luggage rack and bin for the bathroom as one was not provided. I have yet to receive both items, asked twice on the phone and once in person. It is now 9:15pm. The room also did not have a menu for in-room dining so I called them up and they offered to send down a menu. 20 mins later and I find myself going up to collect a menu myself. I am so devastated, so appalled at the poor service!!!! This is an absolute gem of a hotel, so thoughtfully designed and preserved, yet so poorly treated. The F&B manager Amin is the only reason I did not lose it at the front desk who told me my luggage rack and bin had been sent (I’m writing this in the courtyard outside), so I go back and check the room once more only to not find the items. I suggest not leaving trainees without a supervisor because the responses I received are not ones I’d like to share. When I shared my feelings of frustration one of the ladies working the front desk rolled her eyes at me. What a shame and a pity. The staff are not displaying the same excellence as the hotel, and do not match the interior. Do better.

Regarding room service, we are open 7/7 from 7 am until 10.30 pm. We only have housekeeping assistance during the night and no food or beverages after restaurant closure. Upon arrival, we have three complimentary 50cl bottles of water, Fruits, and Moroccan pastries in the room as welcome amenities. All our rooms are supplied with a room service menu. Best Regards

This hotel is a dream, you feel like living in the book “Arabian Nights”. The hotel is beautiful, the service is outstanding, the receptionist Madi Ra went out of her way to be helpful. The restaurant was amazing and the breakfast very good, the manager Khadija Kria, was the epitome of service. This is a hotel that I would go back next time we are visiting Fes. If you have the opportunity to stay there, please don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime.

The hotel was nicely design. All the staff were attentive and helpful. Especially when we checked in, the staff Abid (not sure did i spell his name right) he was extremely helpful. When we arrived, it was late afternoon and my parents were tired and couldn't deal with any more stairs. He was able to arrange the rooms with less steps and we really appreciated his help. Later on we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it didn't disappoint us. The food was great and the staff were excellent again. Ismail Babache was patient enough to explain the dishes to us and fulfil our request also he was an excellent photographer too helped us to take some good pictures! Overall we enjoyed our short stay at the hotel.

It is an experience to sty at the Palais Faraj. From the opulently tiled rooms to the outdoor courtyards and small sitting areas throughout, we felt pampered. The view from the rooftop restaurant and bar is amazing. This is THE place to stay in Fes.

The way the staff had handled the issue during our stay was unacceptable! My original email with the request for an extra bed was approved with email confirmation, so it is not clear why I was denied the request once I got into the hotel. In addition to that, the staff member was just making up the new quotes and new rules on the go. When I asked them for an additional bed, first response was $50 By the time it took me to get to my room and come down to the lobby with the payment, the price went up to $55 Then this employee made a phone call and informed me that it was not possible to add a bed in our room at all. So either he and whoever he talked to on that phone - just made up their own rules or I was placed in the room smaller that was originally booked. Bunch of scammers! Hotel management didn't even reply to my email that i sent them upon my return home!

The Classic room you have block is only for 2 persons and can only host a baby crib. When you requested by email an extra bed we agreed because our reservation team assigned you a larger room that can host an extra bed at 750MAD ($75) On August 7th you canceled the extra bed. When you got to the hotel and asked for an extra bed the team offered you a discounted rate of $50 and unfortunately, another team member provided later another rate, we're sorry for that. Concerning the rooms, the hotel provides you with the category you booked for. I do apologize for all this misunderstanding that has upset you upon arrival. Best Regards

Poor service and terrible experience at the restaurant. We were given a nice check-in experience, including an upgrade. The hotel is grand, there are not that many hotels of this class in Fez. Therefore naturally it is overpriced. But the most disappointing experience for us was the following: There are two eateries on the top floor of the hotel about 3 meters apart from each other. The bar had loud music playing and we did not want to sit in such a noisy environment, i was not feeling well and the Moroccan restaurant menu was not to our liking. We requested the Moroccan restaurant manager to serve us some dishes from the bar menu and some from the Moroccan as a courtesy. However, this was flatly refused. There were a total of six seven people in either of the restaurants, there was enough staff, the restaurants are next to each other and it was baffling to me that an upscale boutique hotel , charging upwards of $400 a night would refuse, in spite of multiple requests, to serve two simple dishes from an eatery which is 3 meters away, (Two doors in the same small lift lobby) to a guest. Later on we explored the area and we felt there are lot of amazing places to stay in Fez which may not be as famous but well worth considering.

Our restaurants offer a mix of Moroccan & Mediterranean carte so our guests have a large selection. Our Bars, the Golden bar on the third floor and the Pation offer a snacking selection that is only served in the bar, as it is a different experience. Concerning the music we have a musical trio with guitar & a capela lady singer specially selected to avoid loud music, so we are very sorry to see this was not convenient for you. Palais Faraj Suite & Spa is a real unique experience in a 19 century building entirely renovated twelve years ago offering excellent Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine with an incredible view on the old medina of Fez. We went for dinner with my parents and it was the most amazing experience The food , the service and the atmosphere were nothing less than perfect At the end the hotel reception arranged for a taxi to drive us back to our stay Highly recommend and will for sure book a room there the next time I visit fes

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is truly a palace. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Sending our thanks to Brahim and Mohamad at the front desk. The patio in the evening is a gem not to miss. We would LOVE to come back during summer to try the swimming pool, it looks amazing. The details and small things bring authenticity and life to the place: woodwork, paintings, sculptures and the mosaic art. If you have a complaint, all is dealt with thoroughly and fast. Chokran for a delightful stay.

Beautiful and relaxing property with fabulous views. We very much enjoyed our several day there. Service was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed many wonderful meals on the roof top patio. The food was delicious. Special thanks to Khadija for her hospitality.
