一家很有特色的摩洛哥傳統酒店，入住人不多，很安靜，酒店在老城區，很難找到停車位，如果你自駕過來最好找當地人聯繫酒店再帶你去停車場，很小的門洞，在外面你都無法想象是酒店，酒店內卻別有洞天，房間很大，但是很昏暗。值得住幾天！

I visited for my 50th birthday and this venue definitely didn't disappoint. Bushra and the front desk team did an excellent job in being efficient, friendly and welcoming as you would expect from this class of establishment. The Riad, a former harem, is beautifully appointed and the rooftop terrace is stunning. The hotel put rose petals with 50 written on my bed which was a lovely touch, particularly given that our previous riad Algila had done nothing! The breakfast is truly exquisite and our rooftop suite was beautifully appointed - we felt like staying there for the whole trip! It is a real oasis from the madness of Fez. We also had a very romantic dinner, although I feel portion sizes could be slightly bigger. The hammam was also a lovely experience. Thanks very much to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Tucked behind a beautiful door in the maze of the Andalou quarter in the Medina . A painstaking renovation of a former 17th century building . Rooms and public spaces are all carefully curated to provide an authentic and luxurious feel . Breakfast was excellent and the preordered dinner superb . But the real attraction here are the staff . Friendly , engaging , helpful and knowledgeable. They make sense of the chaotic Medina and provide an atmosphere of calm and respite . Parking , luggage , restaurant recommendations, attractions, guides nothing is too much trouble . Or guide Ahmad arranged by the hotel was amazing . Our 12,000 step Medina tour went by in a flash . His English was impeccable, his knowledge of the Medina encyclopedic . We never felt pressured to buy , but were guided to items we wanted to shop for as he supported us in choice, and the ever present negotiation . If we chose to linger over shopping, drinks or lunch he adjusted the tour in real time . A true professional. An excellent stay on all levels.

Our stay at the riad was pleasant—until we encountered an issue with the manager that left a bad impression. We had booked a walking tour of Fez online in advance with a fantastic guide we carefully chose, but upon arrival, the riad manager insisted that we cancel our booking and use one of the guides she recommended instead. At first, we thought she was just making a suggestion, but as we politely declined, she kept pushing the idea, making us feel uncomfortable. It quickly became clear that she wasn’t trying to help us but rather had a business arrangement with the guides she was promoting. When we firmly stood our ground and refused to change our plans, she became noticeably less friendly toward us. This kind of pressure was disappointing, especially in a place that is supposed to make guests feel welcome and at ease. Luckily, we stuck with our original guide, and it was the best decision we made. But for future travelers, be aware: if you book a tour independently, stand firm and don’t let anyone manipulate you into canceling. Sadly, some riads seem to prioritize their business deals over guest experience. Fez is an incredible city, but experiences like this can put a damper on your stay—so choose wisely!

This Riad exceeded our hopes. With only internet pictures to go by we had no idea what to expect. We were blown away by the beauty and comfort of our rooms, the wonderful staff, the amazing rooftop and calming decor. Fes is a mystical place of spirit and openness to foreigners. Karawan Riad was the sumptuous addition to this memorable experience.

My experience at Riad Karawan was absolutely wonderful and incredibly comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I would especially like to mention the front desk receptionist, Nouzha, who is by far the best I’ve ever encountered in all my travels! Her professionalism, warmth, and dedication are unmatched, and the owner of the riad is truly fortunate to have her as part of the team. I highly recommend this riad for an unforgettable stay! 🙏🏻
