Location is fantastic, altho can hear the noise outside but most are off by 11.30pm. Owners are very generous and helpful. Room is cosy and goodview from balcony.

Right in the middle of old town. Easy to explore day n night by foot or take boat ride. View of river from the balcony. Shd stay at least two days to fully explore.

Great place with wonderful hosts that are friendly and can help with arrangements for sightseeing. Place is conveniently located on the river bank, right next to the main bridges to the main Old City part. A room is not big, but very comfortable for a one person stay. Please keep in mind, that the toilet has half-transparent glass wall, so for traveling couples it might be a leap to a next level of intimacy:) As it's located immediately at the river bank, where most bars are also located, be prepared for the outside noise (loud music, stops at 11.30 pm), but with closed door to the balcony very tolerable. For me it was fine as the wonderful view on the balcony was more important. Balcony has a small table and two chairs (one of which is a swing), great for breathing out and chilling after a busy day on you feet after visiting all the scenic areas. The place is quite clean, no smell of tobacco of whatsoever. Would definitely recommend for short stay.

I had a fantastic stay. The owners are super helpful and pleasant. Location is smacked right in the mid point of the river. Highly recommend.

Very nice view. All hotels that are river facing has no lift. But this hotel has rooms at ground floor.

The host are nice family who help us a lot. The girl can speak English and provides us a lot of information to explore Fenghuang city. Location is perfect for taxi choice from railway station.

Owner of inn very helpful. Will fetch guest from bus terminal & the inn is about few hundred metres away from bus terminal. Guozhen inaccessible by any transport, all walk! Inn facing the river & all the scenic places concentrate at the river. Basically remain within the compound, not require to venture out.

Was a last min booking, balcony view over the river, friendly lady boss, told me to see the pagoda outside and will find the way home..

Habitación con vistas inmejorables, todo muy limpio, anfitriones muy amables. Nos han ayudado con las gestiones de compra de entradas y en el traslado desde la estación. Muy buen alojamiento.

Tengo sentimientos encontrados con este lugar. Por un lado los dueños son unas personas maravillosas que te ayudan en todo y nos subieron de categoría de habitación para nuestra estancia de una noche; pero por otro lado mi experiencia en el lugar no fue del todo buena. Cuando llegamos a la habitación las ventanas estaban completamente abiertas y la habitación estaba fría, necesitamos un rato para calentarla. Me hubiera gustado llegar después de una viaje de 8h y tener una habitación más confortable. Justamente debajo del edificio hay un bar en el que cantan en directo por las noches hasta las 23:30. Si planteas descansar pronto te será muy difícil hasta que llegue esta hora y quede todo en silencio. Las ventanas no aislan el ruido. Las vistas son muy bonitas por la mañana y por la noche. En la zona de la mampara de la ducha faltaba limpieza.
