Jiqingxuan Inn (Fenghuang Ancient Town)

Amazing quality of service + Amazing tradicional zone by the small river + quiet zone + lovely family. Staying here we felt like staying at home. The owner was super sweet and treated us as a member of the family taking care of us being in each detail such as giving an umbrella if it was raining and beautiful details like that. The communication was not an issue at all. As soon as we arrived we started communicating using WeChat and it's translations so everything was super smooth. Eery hotel should add her example :) The place is a traditional building from outside. Each room having private toilet Asian style we loved it, air conditioner, and nice room space to stay inside even in rainy days with view to the highest pagoda or the river depending your room. Nearby you will find a big supermarket 200m away (sunshine) and little stores for buying good and cheap food. Every single attraction is 500m away. The best place and the best service by far in our whole trip in china during 3 weeks. For sure will come back here without hesitation and truly recommend to anyone desiring to have a nice stay in the beautiful city of fenghuang.

The room was exactly the same as advertised and the lady was really nice. She came to greet us after we got off from the local cab, and helps us to get one after checkout. She was our saviour as Didi was practically useless here, they rely on cab. The location is near to pheonix gate, not on the main river which offer a quiet night and tranquility. Because of the location, it also near to outside of ancient town where u can find shops, retails, restaurants etc etc. If u are looking for halal food, the nearest is located at juyuan road, less than 1km walk.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Clean and comfortable. Location is great as it's near to everything there is to see in the town but also good for restaurants, shops and transportation in and out the city. The host was great and accommodating to our needs. We definitely recommend it!
