Courtyard St. Petersburg Clearwater

Love it here ! will be coming back.

The check in process was made easy thanks to a friendly staff member. The hotel was well maintained and the location was convenient for my flight in and out of Tampa’s airport. There are plenty of restaurants close by for a bite to eat. The main entrance is easy to access and side entrances made accessing rooms simple.

Great hotel in a great location. We were visiting family in Clearwater before going on a cruise out of Tampa. Front desk was friendly and recognized our Platinum Marriott status and offered an upgrade to a 1 bedroom which was a nice surprise for our 5 night stay. We had a comfortable king sized bed and a good sized living room with a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. The in-room coffee was pretty good and offered dark roast and a dark roast decaf. We bought half and half at the nearby Publix and it was like having coffee at home. The room had a nice balcony overlooking palm trees (see pic) and the fire pit in the courtyard. The hotel was clean and quiet. Parking was easy. Our room was close to the elevator that was near the exit door where we parked so in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be back on our many trips to Clearwater. Thank you for a great stay.

Look-a-here, Mike Cote and his team rolled out the red carpet from the moment I arrived. This was a hotel experience like none other. Beautiful accommodations with like views. Quiet, spacious, nice gym; I could go on. It was much like the "Bonvoy" commercials airing on the Marriott TV network. Only better because this was "my bonvoy experience." In a world of polarizing tension and sensationalized discord both nationally and internationally, Mike Cote and the Marriott Clearwater team are the north star, the Polaris in an often times dark galaxy whose light signals "this is the way. Bonvoy!"

We had outstanding service from the staff at the Clearwater Courtyard during our recent stay. The front two desk attendants that were there during the day shift were so kind to us when we had questions and brought my kids beach toys. The morning and evening attendants to the restaurant / bar were always prompt and helpful. The valet always asked how our day went when we returned from walking even though we weren't using our car. Even the cleaning staff in the lobby greeted us with a smile. The hotel was very clean and fresh with great ammenties. Even being a couple of blocks away from the beach I would stay at this property again just for the service.

We had a great suite room on the water. Lovely balcony to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Comfortable bed, lots of room. Good basic Marriott buffet breakfast. Right next to a seafood restaurant.

My daughter and I just had the best weekend at Courtyard by Marriott. This hotel exceeded our expectations! The rooms are gorgeous, extremely clean, the pool was very relaxing, the gym was spacious, spotless, equipped with top notch workout gear, bicycles, treadmills, weights, water and fresh towels. The staff went above and beyond to make this a great weekend. Aric especially was so kind and helpful. The location is perfect too, just minutes to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. We can't wait to come back again!

We recently booked a room at this property, but due to airline delays we arrived at 3:00 A.M., and discovered they had given our room away. The night attendant apologized, but did nothing to help, other than to tell us where other hotels were in the area. Needless to say, we were very upset. The next morning, we called the Asst. GM(Kelly Grzan) who was already aware of the situation, and had discussed it with her staff at the morning meeting. She was sincerely apologetic, and had already gone into the system, and credited the points we had used for our stay, and offered us a free night. In addition, she gave us two free breakfasts. Because we loved the facility so much, we stayed there that night, and used our points the night before our flight back out. Now, you can only imagine how stressed we were having to find another hotel at 4:00 in the morning, but were ulimately made to feel appreciated by the hotel's response. As the saying goes, "Everyone is going to have problems! It's how they resolve them that matters!" In this case, I really need to recognize Kelly, and her entire team. We'll stay at this hotel again on our next rip to the area!

This is the nicest Courtyard Marriott I have ever stayed at, reminds me how they used to be 20 years ago. The grounds were kept impeccably, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and had everything they needed. I would definitely stay here again.
