Premier Inn Farnborough Town Centre

Easy booking on the web, good pricing for the regular and reliable experience. Cheerful check in, attentive reception early morning giving the reassurance they are noticing the movement of people - increasing the feeling of safety and acknowledgement at check out, thanked us for staying. This is a Premier Inn staff who showed they were glad they had custom. A lovely touch on entering the room. A personalised card and chocolate from Reception, wishing us a pleasant stay. The hotel is in close proximity to Travelodge in the town we visit regularly for family. This small touch is what will make us book here first.

The premier inn it self was great, staff friendly and welcoming, bed very comfortable, the shower was acceptable it just wasn’t that much pressure but did the job. Room was clean , in need of a lick of paint but ok. So why only 3 stars …the adjoining restaurant well if I was just rating them it would be minus 5 , Staff were rude , the food arrived at best lukewarm, they didn’t have the first three meals I picked, so had to settle for something I didn’t really want. I stayed 4 nights only had evening meal on first night and staff were far from friendly, food as above comments. Had breakfast the next morning and that’s was as bad, staff could care if you were there or not and as for the food I left it and went to nearby pub that served breakfast which was very good. Now I stay at a few premier inns and although the hotel in Farnborough was very good the restaurant/ bar attached was very poor.

Staff were simply amazing. Helping me with my luggage when my toddler was asleep without asking eased me well into the night. I enjoyed the bed, it was just right. One of the best sleeps I’ve honestly had in a while. I will highly recommend, as the value for money is on point.
