Visited the hotel yesterday, for family lunch as birthday treat for my 91 year old mother, the dining room was lovely decorated, Charlie the waiter was friendly made us welcome. The service was great, excellent choice of menu, food was delicious and well presented. Will definitely visit again.

Pros: Polite friendly staff. Incredible food. 3 courses for £20. Walk-in, powerful shower. Great location. Cons: Our room (74) was quite small and tired looking. Needs decorating and vinyl replacing on outside of door less wardrobe. No view from window, just a concrete wall. No comfy seating area for just a drink, only high tables and stools or dining tables and chairs. Hot buffet breakfast with watery scrambled eggs. I found out after I could have asked for a fried egg. I think workmen use this hotel. Personally, I think any hotel that have workmen stay should allocate certain rooms for them and keep nicer rooms for people who stay for pleasure. I'd stay there again but request a different room from 74.

Hotel looks fine from outside, good location for town centre. Staff friendly enough.The room which we paid £103 the night was a small double, very dated, bedding was clean, bed comfortable, clean white towels. The room was filthy, dust on vanity area, unclean coffee cups, dust rolled off the bedside table, windowsill, tv, and a ledge above the bed. Walls marked and dirty, skirtings thick with dust, mirrors not clean. Shower was powerful, but over the bath, with no slip mat( I slipped coming out and hurt my leg! A half used shower gel was still on shower holder. But reasonably clean bathroom. Cleaners knocked on door at 9.10 am and asked if room was vacant! Breakfast buffet style, descent enough.

Comfortable nights sleep on a very small bed, only one bedside table. Very basic but did the job. Very busy in the restaurant so food must be good but are elsewhere as they were booked up. Plenty of choice for breakfast, all the what you would expect.

Very tired looking hotel, appears to be updated but quality poor, chipped patchy painted in rooms and corridors, bathroom update still had pencil marks on walls, door frames shabby and dirty, corners and skirtings in bathroom and bedroom dusty and dirty, bins in bathroom and bedroom stained and dirty, general dust everywhere, and no where in bathroom to store toiletries, towels or robes . . .not one single shelf or hook, poor supplied toiletries, had to put everything on the dirty floor, bed was ok but flat pillows. Pluses were white fluffy towels, decent shower, tea coffee kettle cups in room, working TV, plentiful breakfast and friendly staff. Was only there for 2 nights, which tbh was enough would not have stayed there any longer.

For a start we are regulars at the restaurant there and obviously we rate the food and service very highly. For those who do not know the hotel , it is situated very centrally in the town which itself has various links to all places of attraction. At the end of June we had a family celebration so we decided to stay overnight there. We were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and spotless. Tea and coffee making stuff ready and waiting. Breakfast was first class. Unfortunately the hotel appeared to be almost at capacity so in the buffet area bottle necks occurred. This certainly showed the popularity of the hotel and did not detract from our overall experience. Well done The Park and their friendly and professional staff.

I would have gave this hotel 5 out of 5 apart from the breakfast as my eggs were hard after ordering soft eggs and my potato scone was solid looked like it had been deep fried The rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean .The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Crieff itself was far too hilly for me and not much to do but nice for peaceful visit

Overpriced rooms which are in need of an upgrade. The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website. Tiny room with no beside tables, frayed wire’s hanging out of the TV cable and broken toilet roll holder. The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied, the bath needed a good clean, the hairdryer was a tiny travel one and the walls were paper thin. On a positive the evening meal in the restaurant was very good value and tasted great. The restaurant staff were also very attentive and saved the trip from being a total disaster
