Transit Motel

It exceeded my expectations after reading the reviews. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient and they told us about the free airport shuttle without us asking. It left exactly on time too. The restaurant has delicious food at affordable prices. Our room was basic but perfect for our need to get an early night sleep for a very early check out. The air-conditioner was quiet when I had to turn it on at night for awhile because I was hot. Some other guests were a bit loud but then everything was quiet so I think the hotel staff must have asked them to shush.

The location was a little hard to find given there are a couple of pins on Google maps. Don’t attempt to walk it! In the day you will melt from the heat and at night you’ll probably get hit by a car as there is no footpath and no street lights. We had a flight that arrived after 9pm so this was a great location to flop and get ready for the next day. We didn’t get given any towels so skipped the shower and the bedding was stained so we used tshirts as extra pillow cases. The bed was comfy though and, despite the comings and goings outside, had a good sleep. Good for a short time, not a long time. Didn’t expect much due to price and location.

We booked as we arrived late, we knew the place wasn't flash. We are a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 young children and booked a family room Pros - 5 mins from the airport - Communication with the facility was fantastic, they normally replied on Facebook messenger within a few hours. - check in was very quick - check out even quicker - the pool looked nice for a transit hotel - the towels and bedding was clean and made up nicely Cons - the air con was very very very loud - the bathroom smelt pretty bad ( the bathroom was clean and tidy, but the Brick is old and damaged so I assume the smell is from dampness) - the shower was cold, (although my parents who were booked in a double room said if you left it on for long enough it eventually turned hot) All up it was a cheap place to stay for the night. The staff there were friendly and helpful, however I don't think we would stay again.

We booked this place at the last minute due to flight changes. Wow…after multiple messages to confirm our arrival date, they still didn’t have us booked in. Lucky There was a room available. The rooms are so loud…staff were outside laughing and talking all night. We had about 2 hours sleep. The shower was disgusting…hair and old soap left in there. We didn’t use the shower because of how gross this was. Would not recommend however options are limited in this area. Very overpriced for what you get.

Pulito e spartano: letto, tavolino, bagno con doccia: l’essenziale per poche ore in trasferimento. Letto comodo, lenzuola e asciugamani puliti. Accettano anche pagamento con carta. Unica pecca: non c’è acqua calda…ma da queste parti è una rarità. Molto comodo il transfer da/per aeroporto e traghetto.
