This LaQuinta is clean, smelled nice, and was well maintained. Our room on the 2nd floor across from the elevators was quiet, and the air conditioning worked perfectly to keep us comfortable. The building is located well back from the access road on a business campus with nicely cut lawns and walkways. The fridge, microwave, and TV worked as they should, and we could not believe our eyes there was a Keurig coffee maker and 3 pods for our use. There is coffee and hot water with Lipton tea bags in the breakfast room all day, and breakfast was very satisfying with sausage gravy biscuits, hard-boiled eggs, and waffles among the choices. The dog walking area was clean with no trash (the only odd thing I saw there was an adult rabbit eating clover). I walked around the entire building and didn't see any trash anywhere (zero, zilch, nada!). It's clean here, and there are no vagrants hanging around either! The beds are firm with a cushion top and slept well. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows, and that's a personal preference. Yes! We would stay at the Fairborn, Ohio LaQuinta again.

Disgusting rooms- stained sheets/blankets, fridge didn’t work, toilet didn’t flush correctly, key cards don’t work and need to be re-keyed multiple times, pillows hard as a rock, fruit flies all over the breakfast area, remotes don’t work, ac doesn’t work properly. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Absolutely disgusting hotel!! Stay away!!! I travel a lot for work and I have never seen anything so gross!! We are in town for the ******* Classic soccer tournament and so disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. It is so dirty and the staff could care less. We took a ton of pictures and I will be sharing. I’m also going to make sure this hotel is removed from the recommended list. I have never seen so many stains and cigarette burns in the bedding. We had to completely ***** down the beds and bring blankets from our car!! We used our neck pillows as pillows we were so grossed out. Do not book a room here!! $500 for two nights!! I’d rather sleep in my car!!

Many things wrong with room. Thermostat did now work correctly, Finish was peeling off shower. Smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling. Indoor pool was not useable as heater was broken, so water was very cold. Mattress was very old and sagged into the middle. We left a day early because the conditions were so bad.

This La Quinta was ok, not great, not terrible. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is starting to show its age. The room was comfortable. The breakfast options were lackluster at best.

Staff informed us there was an outage. Yet our fiends .3 miles away had no issues. Hotel looks good outside but inside is not good. We had no AC, eggs for breakfast and cable. Asked for manager to call. They said why, there is an outage. Rehearsed line.

The only reason I gave this a 1 instead of a zero is because the hotel desk staff was friendly. Toilet flushed unreliably. Toilet paper holder wasn’t secure, and was positioned behind the user. Floor, door, walls in bath dinged, cracked, rusty, dirty. Mildew in shower. No stopper in sink. Bathroom door stuck against floor halfway open, obstructed toilet. Bathmat had a hole. No towel holder at sink, not enough at shower. Fridge was behind a door that wouldn’t stay closed. Window permanently fogged. One curtain handle missing. Closet door was swollen, wouldn’t close. TV remote worked once in awhile. First room had broken AC. Pool water gray instead of blue. Hallways not swept. Outdoor trash cans full. Only one luggage cart. Breakfast room trash cans were filthy. No dedicated carafe for hot water, so water tasted like coffee. No spoons, large bowls, biscuits for the sausage gravy, milk, hot chocolate mix, or pastries at 7:30 in the morning.

non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke - killed 3 bugs crawling on the desk - no anti-slip mat/protection in shower thus a trip to ER when wife fell - fridge did not work loosing 50$ in food - room keys repeatedly did not work. staff only said "sorry" - will not return to this chain
