The staff were very helpful and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely recommend this Exeter Premier Inn.

An ok hotel very near the train station. They were very short staffed just 2 staff running reception and the restaurant, also very strangely the staff told us not to have their baby cot as poor quality. Appreciate the honesty but would recommend this is sorted

Location is good and convenient. Suitable for a short stay.

Standard premier inn stay, really nice room and high standards as normal. Would be nice if there was an option of rooms with baths like some of the other premier inns. There isnt a page for the little costa coffee opposite but that gave some of the best service received which was great for an early start. Check in was forced to self check in rather than with a person even though a person had to help use the self check in screen which was a bit disappointing to be welcomed with use a screen rather than welcomed properly.

Excellent location, directly opposite the train station. Friendly ,smiley and helpful staff. The room was very clean and had all necessary facilities. We were able to leave bags in storage before and after our stay. Brilliant breakfast- very good value for money.

I’ll start with the good points - the rooms were clean and in a good location for the train station. However the hotel is also situated just down from a busy pub, and the patrons will walk past the hotel after last call singing/shouting. The internet is terrible - you have to pay £5/day to have decent internet to even browse social media and send emails. The reason I scored it so low overall is because this hotel is not safe for solo female travellers - due to the staff. I checked in and decided to freshen up in my room, when a member of staff used their key card and waltzed into my room, without a knock and without a chance for me to object. Their excuse was they didn’t realise someone was in the room. It was very unnerving. I would not stay here or at a premier inn again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean, it even had a lovely view despite our room being located towards the back of the hotel. The service was excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and would recommend it.

The hotel overall was very clean The room was also clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for all four of us. It was a good price and in a very convenient location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Had a bar that was nice. Only let down was the price of the parking.

Beware if you are eating here. I arrived shortly before the restaurant closed after travelling all day. I was given a menu and asked if they had a gluten free menu. I was given an allergen menu and ordered a main and a dessert. I was then told that the dessert I had ordered was no longer on the menu - so why is it still on the allergen menu I wonder! My main course arrived - after I had clearly stated I was Coeliac and had the kitchen been made aware of that. My meal arrived with Garlic Bread on the plate! Ahhgh. I pointed out that I could not eat that and dare not eat any other food on the plate because of possible cross contamination. By now it was 20.55, I was offered a refund or they could cook me a fresh meal. I opted for the meal because I was hungry and did not want to go searching for food elsewhere at 21.00 at night. My meal arrived at 21.30, it was mediocre to say the least but I probably wasn't expecting much more. The young lady serving me was polite, pleasant and working hard, taking orders, serving food and drinks and covering reception. Food and service at breakfast was great and room was clean and comfortable.

Brilliant location (straight across from Exeter St David's station) and very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, comfortable, large showers, lots of plugs and charging points. I had a room at the front with a very busy road outside, but the double glazing is excellent and completely blocked out the noise. The food and drink is OK (Thyme restaurent on site) but it's the weakest part of the experience.

Was actually a much nicer place than expected for a short solo break visiting Exeter City for a long weekend. A slightly frosty check in but no worries. Its literally a couple of minutes from getting off the train at Saint Davids, Was slightly noisy one night (Saturday) but the room was very clean and had everything that was needed for a good break. Bathroom very nice as well and everything was very modern (Likely a newly refurbished room/hotel). Its a good location to explore the city itself, you turn straight out from the entrance up the footpath and onto St Davids Hill, the City is about 10 minutes walk away. Not the best view from the room (Car Park) but wasn't expecting any, the black out curtains were really good and allowed for three decent nights sleep. Would come again in the future if visiting Exeter.

Ideal location by train station whuch was vry good for arrival/departure with liggae drop off/ pick up. Room and hotel clean with everything you would need. Staff really pleasant and helpful with storing luggage and information. Breakfast was well presented and good value for money. Loved my stay here!

Excellent stay in a contemporary room. We had an enjoyable night in this hotel and were very impressed with the new style room. The bathroom in particular was excellent with a huge walk in shower and everything felt clean and bright. As it was a Sunday night, we had booked it for an excellent price too. Breakfast was not a buffet style, presumably because it was a quiet night in the hotel but was enjoyable all the same.
