Cape Vue Byron

We stayed for two nights on our way travelling up the east coast. Primarily this is a family home with five upmarket one bedroom villas in their grounds. The villas all have a lovely elevated view out towards Byron Bay - only 10 min drive away. The villas are not overlooked by other properties but have large areas of glass (especially the bathrooms) that also have unobstructed views to Byron (but no blinds for the bathroom - which might be disconcerting to some people but not a problem for us). There is a shared use infinity pool by the main family villa. Breakfast is available and served on the family verandah with all fresh ingredients and tailored to your tastes. Our villa had all the amenities (even washing machine) for a relaxed stay. The villas are aimed at couples wanting time to themselves and are of a high standard. The dawn chorus was great for us rather than traffic noise for a change. We had a problem with the wifi and the owner really put himself out trying to fix it - but technology got the better of him this time. Still he offered use of his wifi in the main house if we needed. We would rate this as five star and yes in some areas the cleaning could be improved but this is a tiny issue that we are sure will be corrected. The owners take pride in what they have achieved and treat you as guests in their home rather than paying visitors - and expect a corresponding respect for their property.

We stayed four nights in the Grand Villa. we arrived in the evening and were pleasantly surprised with the stunning views from our deck the next morning. The location is easy to find, and even though its only minutes from Byron Bay it feels secluded and very "country like". Out villa had everything we needed it was spacious comfortable and so reasonably priced. Damien the owner was very lovely to chat to and provides an amazing breakfast. The ham and three cheese omlette - to die for! Thankyou so much we loved our stay.

My wife and I recently spent our Honeymoon at La Vista Byron Bay. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and that welcome feeling stayed with us the whole time we were there. The Villa had everything we needed and it was all set out nicely in a beautiful self-contained unit. We didn't need alarm clocks as Nature provided its own with brilliant sunrises and bird sounds. It was the best start to the day followed by a freshly made breakfast from our friendly host Damien. Most places detach from the guests but Damien made us feel important with pleasant conversation and going above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The great experience started before we arrived and continues even after we departed. Normally I only recommend places I love to people in my immediate circles. La Vista Byron Bay is too good to keep entirely to myself. Being a family-owned business gives La Vista the extra charm that makes it stand out from the rest.

couldnt even check-in the host was awful and i highly recommend NOT booking this property. she didnt give us the instructions, we waited hours outside and she turned her phone off, we were forced to find alternative accomodation and she refused to compensate us for the time, hassle or cost.

A lovely stay at Vue 5, even though the weather was a touch on the plain side, the accomodation was lovely. I would be happy to recommend staying here and when we come back to Byron we will certainly stay here. Oh and remember your camera, the view from vue is awesome.
