So overall, the stay was OK at best. It is an older house and I get that but it is very oddly laid out. The hallway bathroom is the entrance for the master bedroom. So with that, we had to listen to people going to the bathroom all night. Very odd. Decent utensils & supplies in the kitchen but major issue was the rat turds everywhere. Every single drawer had them. We literally had to wash everything before we could even use it. The AC/heat system is horrible. One room froze people out and one cooked you like a turkey dinner....no happy mediums anywhere. You couldn't adjust any of the vents because most are broke or dismantled. Wifi doesn't work. It has the modem for it but we could never get it to work. We have the same one at home and it has the lights to show signal coming in, which it didn't have. Spoke with Lisa in the office (AWESOME lady by the way, she is so nice to talk too) and she said their was something in the master bedroom that gets unplugged....I looked 3x and couldn't find anything. Typically not a huge deal when you're trying to disconnect and get away, but the first day we were there, it rained most all day. We managed to play some cards and games that we brought but even at that, being able to turn a movie on for the kids would have helped. Next point of this, TV remote doesn't work so you can't do anything with that. We put new batteries into it and nothing. With that though, its NOT a smart TV and there is no DVD player or antenna connected to it....whats it good for exactly? If you can't watch anything on it due to all of this, why is it even there? Even if the wifi was working, it wouldn't matter since its not a smart TV to watch stuff on??? My only last thing is the master shower. I made it work but its TINY. If you are more than 6'3" tall...go to the other bathroom because you won't fit haha! It was an OK stay at best but no way on earth its worth $250 a night!!!!! Maybe...and its a stretch, maybe $150 a night but thats pushing it. We will not be back and I do not recommend this house.

Park was only half full which was nice. Petting zoo, pavilion, rec room with games and a full kitchen. Dog park. You can see some of the animals in the safari. Clean restrooms and showers. Property is clean and well maintained. Off the beaten path but nice place.

My sister and I came here with my two little nephews. We rented a cabin and did the safari multiple times. It totally rocked!!! The cabin was clean and so snug. The safari is wonderful. The toddler absolutely loved it. The place is pet friendly. The petting zoo is wonderful—perfect for kiddies. The ppl are so nice. The town of Hamilton nearby has some cool Billy the Kid legends, including the grave of a man who claimed to be Billy the Kid. This whole area is great. We will be back!
