Terrible hotel - very repetitive evening entertainment. Dirty communal areas - including the sun beds. Food was awful - flies and ants everywhere, pigeons in restaurants and no staff trying to remove them. This hotel is never a 4 star, I’d say a 2 star at best

To be clear we are a family of 3 with one child. We go abroad regularly at least twice a year and have stayed in 3-5* accommodation including other Globales hotels before. So we are certainly not people expecting 5* for a 4* price or anything like that. This is a totally honest review. I’ll start with some of the more positive experiences. Water park - lots of fun and a great addition to the hotel. It was one of the reasons we were drawn to it to be honest. Staff - majority of the staff are lovely excluding one morning chef and the animation team who were absolutely awful, rude, arrogant and disrespectful. The rest were friendly and although no issues were resolved for us and they were clearly very busy and understaffed we were always met with politeness and a smile. Huge shout out to the lovely Maria on the bar you were just fab! (And happy birthday for the 24th August!) Food - Raw meat being served daily which I raised on multiple occasions and nothing changed. Raw chicken, pork and even raw fish. The selection is poor even the basics such as bread one type or bread or roll no wholemeal at all. There isn’t much thought put into what a meal comprises of so you might have roast pork let’s say, but then nothing that would go with it. Food was also mislabelled or not labelled at all, my partner who is allergic to shellfish went to eat the labelled vegetable paella to find fish in it! This is so dangerous for any allergies. We ate out most evenings to ensure we didn’t get food poisoning or anaphylaxis to be honest, and lived off plain pasta and salad during lunch and continental breakfast. Drinks - poor choice and quality anything that was half decent like the daiquiri you had to pay extra for. Soft drinks were ok and some branded but that’s it. Restaurants - far too small for the size of the complex and the beach restaurant is absolutely filthy all the time, the day guests can also use this so it’s just crazy. We saw cockroaches inside the main restaurant as well as ants crawling all over the yoghurt toppers. Again more ants all over the salad in the beach restaurant. Staff were told and apart from one waitress standing on a cockroach nothing was done. Animation - Unfortunately nothing positive here, they are completely obnoxious, we didn’t see one good show, singer, magician nothing at all. They would dress up as odd characters and drag round a speaker every evening and some lunchtimes on full blast into an enclosed restaurant or reception and do the odd party dance in everyone’s way in a tiny space, there was zero purpose to this. My son is neurodiverse and couldn’t cope when this happened I asked if it could be turned down slightly so he could remain in the restaurant (as the first time he left and then couldn’t return to eat at all as completely overwhelmed) and it was on occasion turned down when I asked the restaurant staff, however when I asked the animation team themselves they literally laughed in my face, moved the speaker di

All meats were under cooked and made us physically ill, we ended up eating out every night and not using the all inclusive food! I witnessed a chef blow his nose on a tissue and then carry on cooking without washing his hands (chef on the morning shift at 7am on the 10/07/24) There isn't enough parasols around the pool, people come around and take each other's (we had a french couple take ours and get physically aggressive with us when we took it back as we needed It for our child) Pools are great but theyre very cold, kids splash park have a few silly rules, wouldn't let me take my 3 year old down the bigger kids slides on my lap as lifeguards say they are just for children, never had this problem before and it spoilt it for my 3 year old as she wouldn't go down them without me, I'm talking about the bigger slides on the kids splash parks- not the baby little ones, but the older kids seem to enjoy them. Lifeguards controlling the bigger slides are too busy talking to other staff around instead of giving you the go ahead when it's safe to take your turn down the slide. Little splash land where they have water features/sprinklers for the kids are amazing, it also had a little baby pool next to it and its very quiet compared to the other pools. Beverages are excellent, cocktails really nice. Rooms are OK- bathroom could be cleaner (shower had all hairs inside when we first arrived) but housekeeping did make beds and give us fresh sheets every day. I'm usually no fussy with food so I didnt take much notice of the reviews as there's always negative reviews and I've never had a problem before but, this was the worst I've ever had! Maybe it would've been OK if they actually cooked the food properly. Food was also very repetitive. Burgers at snack bar were always burnt (even staff who was eating around us in the dining places were throwing the burgers away due to them being cooked poorly and inedible). All poultry was pink in the middle as pictured , Would not recommend or return for this reason.
