Motel 6 Lester, PA - Philadelphia Airport

Where to start, perhaps with the doors to this motel 6 locked and the clerk fast asleep behind the counter when we arrived. Bang, bang on the glass and the clerk awakens only to tell us “no reservation, and anyways it’s too late I have to close the books for the day” (it was almost 230am) After some pleading she miraculously locates our Reservation. “I’ll do it just this once, is all we got from her as she checked us in. Do what just once we asked ourselves? The property and room, no words can describe this many decades outdated, decrepit, dirty place. We booked this place as no others were available as there had been flight cancellations but we will never stay here or at any other motel 6, EVER. Better to have slept on the floor of the airport

THIS HOTEL IS A HEALTH HAZARD! We stood here for one day and this is all that we saw: smoke detectors covered, a CRACK PIPE under our bed, black stained towels, it smelled like they sprayed to cover up cigarette smell, dirty sheets, and a MOUSE!!!!! We didn’t even sleep with blankets bc of how grey they looked! When we went to complain another lady showed me pictures of her room where she had mold on her sheets, a black large hand print on her sheets, and mold on the walls. Horrible place! I am calling the health inspector too! Needs to be shut down!

We used the hotel for its airport parking service. There was no one in the lobby area, just a locked door and a note directing us to the hotel next door. There we were “greeted” by someone who apparently was having a bad day and wanted to make sure ours was ruined also. Once we actually got to park in the gated lot, the shuttle drivers in both directions were very nice and it was super easy to leave the lot

Friendly Management. Clean, renovated, big, and affordable rooms. Free and fast Airport Pickup and Dropoff in brand new shuttle van. Fast Wi-Fi. But not many restaurants nearby by, only Wawa. Besides that overall fantastic stay

Had a very good stay overall. Upon arrival to PHL I phoned the the property to be picked up. Just a few minutes later the Motel 6 shuttle arrived and the friendly driver assisted to load my bags. The hotel is only a couple minutes from the airport. After being dropped off, I went to check in and the gentleman working offered complimentary waters and directed me to my room. The room was basic but it was clean and the shower pressure was excellent. Slept peacefully through the night and left the following day with no issue. The price was more than fair for what is offered, and I could not find a better deal in the area.

5 star…..Convenience 5 star…..front desk staff 5 star…..Shuttle transfer staff and efficiency 4 star…..fly and park parking. Parking tight but workable 1 star……..bathroom tub filthy! Phone filthy! Bed clean and comfortable This hotel has great potential and I was clearly shocked when I looked at the Bethel. We arrived at 8 PM for a park and fly package. Otherwise I would not have stayed because of the bath tub.
