Vivanta Ernakulam, Marine Drive

This is an excellent hotel and great value for money. The rooms were spotless & beds extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend staying at Vivanta in Cochin.

this is an excellent property ,with very central location ,rooms with sea view. i stayed at this exceptionally maintained property in september 2024. the property is very established and absolutely nicely maintained. the newly renovated floors feel very bright and spacious lift lobby on every floor with sofas for waiting. the rooms are exceptionally well designed ,with very minimalist looks with all modern and well maintained amenities. i have to appreciate the hotel for minor details like keeping 12 cloth hangers of top quality with rubber lining in room almirah. the toiletry in room bathroom was good small on bathroom shelve drwers were tucked with the amenities like tooth brush ,tooth paste ,batth room drawer had hair dryer. also they had 10X mirror in bathroom. Very nice about 50" TV with tatasky and apps like youtube ,amazon prime . the in room wifi had very good internet reception for upto 3 devices which worked like a breeze. not to miss the famous and newly renovated bubble cafe had one of exceptionally trained and groomed serving staff with charming smile ,ready to assist. how can i miss to name so well groomed Mr.Eldo ready to do his best to make our experience in the dinning area good. overall a visit to this vivanta hotel was exceptional experience from check in to check out. also the spa experience on first day and lasrt day of stay was well managed by good well trained staff.

Old is gold We choose Vivanta for our short stay in Chn . We were sceptical initially as we had lots of other new options in Chn . But from the time stepped in to Vivanta we confirmed that the decision was good Very friendly and supportive staff starting from the reception to banquet, room service and facilities management team . We enjoyed the sumptuous Onam sadya, boat ride , wide spread of breakfast and of course the bar , Swirl. We felt the behaviour of each staff is really genuine unlike other new properties ( we later stayed in other hotels too ) people are keen in getting reviews for a good rating . Like to share our special thanks to few amazing people we interacted during the stay : Eldho , Sajneesh , Eldho , Head chef and Sous chef . Eldho from the banquet team remembered to pack us some fruits on our way to the next spot . Overall an incredible experience. Will always come back even though we’ve an array of new properties in Cochin .

It was an excellent stay from check in till check out. Even though we have made booking for harbor view room , but they have provided us a suite facing to the sea with out any extra cost on us . The break fast was awesome , my family enjoyed a lot in entire stay ….in my next trip I will choose only Vivanta for my stay in Cochin.

This place lacks the warmth of Taj ..do you get a room yes, do you get breakfast yes, are there amenities yes... but no one is interested in having you. The only person who had warmth and was customer oriented was the pool guy sorry forgot his name Jebi I guess young guy who is also a diver. The front office was just short of putting a self checkin kiosk like you have in these European hotels. Infact the welcome drink is also kept ..so please stirr it well it's been there for sometime ..pour it and drink it. And yes those tiles under the deck chair by the pool are dangerous one is sure to slip and fall if your feet are wet so please fix that urgently ....I fell there once and no I was not clumsy. I can understand the hotel is being refurbished but that gives no excuse to compromise on the service.

It is a great place to stay where you are greeted with a warm smile by Abamika the sweet lady from Meghalaya. She makes the check in really smooth and fast. I opted for the harbour facing room as you get a clear view of the boats and the sea from your room. The hotel is under renovation but the staff takes special care to ensure that the guests are not disturbed The food is good and the spread offers a variety of local cuisine. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend that you must try once

The location (right on the edge of Marine Drive), property, lobby, room, staff...everything is superlative. In spite of some renovation works going on in the property, how they kept the disturbance minimal and kept the guests posted about the work is very nice. Loved the stay, experience and hospitality!

I chose Taj due to its reputation and the expectation of high-quality service. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I felt compelled to share my feedback regarding the poor amenities and facilities I encountered during my stay. Though I was given a new suite up on expressing my concern things were more or less the same. We were on a vacation expecting to relax two days, but the experience with the hotel spoiled the mood of the whole family. I felt like I was cheated :( :(. I am sure that I can get much better facilities in Kochi for half of the price I paid for my stay with this hotel. The issues I encountered with the amenities and facilities significantly detracted from my visit. I urge the management to address these shortcomings to ensure that future guests receive the quality and service that aligns with your hotel's reputed standards. Attached are a few pictures of the age old amenities you get for 6500 INR/Day :(. Only positives are the amazing view of Arabian sea and the polite staff.
