What an experience! The owner was very friendly and helpful. The old Abbey style building with modern amenities is simply WOW! The rooms are huge and super clean. Typical German style breakfast with plenty of variety. The dinner menu has lots to choose from and the staff is wonderful.

This is a friendly, family run hotel in a quiet village on the banks of the river Main. The times of availability of hotel staff is limited but there is a bier-garden style restaurant as part of the business. The restaurant is popular, so it is wise to book. It is hired out for private functions so you do need to check whether you can eat there, particularly at weekends. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was clean, and the double bed was comfortable being a typical continental configuration of two single mattresses with two single quilts. The décor of the room is rustic with beautiful wood. There is no safe. We were resigned to the inability to satisfy the British need for a cup of tea – there was no provision for refreshments in the room apart from a welcoming bottle of mineral water which was not replenished by housekeeping. There was no mini bar and no room service. There was a good range of continental breakfast with hot scrambled egg to go with the cold meats. It is conveniently located for the city of Würzburg and other tourist attractions such as the Schloß garden in Veitshöchheim in which we spent a very pleasant afternoon. Recommended.

There was an awful smell in one of our rooms, probably a dead rat or mouse hidden in the wall and it was noisy due to the restaurant down below. That was a BIG disappointment! Otherwise, they seem very friendly and the restaurant is pretty cool but very noisy. Great service tho.

Toller Biergarten mit leckerem Essen und schöner Umgebung. Ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Wir haben einen tollen Abend verbracht und am Main nur ein paar Meter entfernt den Sonnenuntergang genossen. So stelle ich mir einen Tagesabschluss vor.

Im Örtchen Erlabrunn in unmittelbarer Mainnähe ein schönes Hotel. Das Zimmer war klein, aber ruhig und mit sehr guten Betten, einem großen Schrank, einem Tischchen und zwei Stühlen ausgestattet; der Fernseher war für uns zu klein und hatte eine sehr schlechte Tonqualität. Das Bad ist funktional eingerichtet. Im Zimmer wie im ganzen Hotel war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück hat uns nicht überzeugt. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aber insbesondere Brötchen und Brot, aber auch Müsli und Co. hätten qualitativ besser sein können. Man hätte sich auch außer Filterkaffee in der Thermoskanne und Teebeuteln andere Heißgetränke gewünscht.
