The Inn at English Harbour

What a treat to vacation in such a gorgeous spot and not be overcrowded with other people - and during Christmas, the biggest travel week of the year. Always a shady spot on the beach available, calm, clear ocean, and a large pool. The water taxi to Nelson Dockyard was a really nice feature. View is amazing. The staff is very attentive and tended to a few problems we had in our room quickly and efficiently. So many lovely staff members especially everyone at the Reef and Terrace restaurants. I am especially grateful to the front desk and housekeeping for getting rooms ready when we were forced to return after our flight was canceled and for providing plates of cheese and fruit at midnight which was exactly what we needed after such an awful time at the airport.

I stayed with my family in March 2025. There was a problem with our room and there were no other rooms available, so we had to check out early and fly back to the US. The GM Fabio Giorgi promised me a refund of 420,000 Hilton points on March 10. He shook my hand and looked me in the eye and said that he couldn't do it but his office manager, Sherma Henry, could do it when she returned from vacation. I've made 13 phone calls and sent over 20 emails to try and get my points back, but Sherma/Fabio have not made it right. They say they can't issue a refund and Hilton has to do it. Hilton says the hotel has to do it. I've even done 3 phone calls with Hilton Guest Assistance and the hotel on a 3-way call and it is still not resolved.

Had a week at the Inn in May 2025. Lovely hotel and food and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would stay again if we come back to Antigua.

Where to start! Booked to go to Inn at English Habour, July 2024 for a holiday June 2025. Three weeks to go before our holiday, the Hotel decides to close because it is quiet! On the website it states 1st July to 10th October 2025 is the seasonal closure. So beware when booking, they suddenly close due to being quiet. I reached out to the hotel by email to the reservations team and the general manager to clarify, but at the time of writing this review have received no response. Why advertise you can take bookings when in reality your left high and dry with no holiday.

We are very impressed with the resort and the staff. Everyone is friendly. The views, food, beach and room were beyond our expectations.

We had the most wonderful time in such a beautiful location. The pros the staff couldn’t do enough for us Sasha you were a star booking our restaurants all the time Tristan and Thomas on the beach Vere on the boat always made us laugh with our chats Stacey And.imesha in the restaurants. Stacey your willpower to stay quiet when you had a rude customer - thought you were brilliant . Also Rhiannon think I have the name wrong, but thank you for keeping our room spotless especially the balcony where I loved your birds and the slippers they were so comfy. The cons i’m so sorry but the food was so repetitive there was no change in the menus. We only went to the Terrace once and thought it was very expensive for the quality of the food. I must say we love the restaurants in Barbados they were second to none and maybe we were expecting that again. .apart from the food I cannot fault the inn. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so special ! I miss your beautiful ocean already . One tip outside loose cannon they have a raft that you can swim to can you please put one where the buoy is for us to swim to! Melanie and Alan
