We had a lovely stay Friday 3rd January 2025! We booked very last minute as we got darts final tickets unexpectedly. My husband accidentally booked the wrong date, and premier inn gave us a full refund and we then rebooked for the date we needed. Staff were great, very friendly and the food wasn’t too bad. Room was clean and cosy. Our little boy accidentally left his teddy in our room and we made the 4 hour drive home without realising. It was a very sentimental teddy and he was devastated. We struggled to get in touch with the hotel but finally they answered and checked and the house keeper had found it. I sent a prepaid envelope to the hotel and it was sent back right away. Thank you so much my little boy is very happy to have his Teddy back. Special thank you to Fabrizia who handled this for us. We won’t hesitate to stay again 😊

Sayuri was the attendant that help me at reception. She was so friendly and helpful. She went to above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Was an absolute pleasure dealing with her. Thank you for your wonderful service Sayuri, you have really been angel.

Staff at the front door didn't seem to have a clue of any questions asked since there were payment issues. I had to make another payment with extra charges on top but the was no one available to explain to me why the first payment did not go through. Another staff member who came to support was very rude and when I asked for their supervisor, I was told no supervisor was available to speak to me.

I must rate this hotel 5 star, as the staff including Sonia was fantastic. Very friendly and an asset to the hotel. The room fab and the atmosphere in the bar area was brilliant. Parking the car was also at a great price. £7.00 for the day and secure. 5 star.

Stayed here for over a year now team and staff are really good and helpful one ov the best premier inn i have stayed in very highly recommend. Team was great, hotel is very clean and good amazing. Highly recommend people to stay here. Easy access to central london

Hotel itself is fine, room good, bed comfy, good location for Southgate. We have stayed several times and enjoyed a really good breakfast however this time it was a disaster. We invited 7 family and friends (who were not staying at the hotel) to join us for breakfast before we checked out. We had recommended the breakfast from previous experiences. However the chef couldn't cook fast enough and was rushing and being quite rude to people waiting at the counter. "What are you waiting for?" Its obvious what people were waiting for! A full breakfast! There was never the full choice of full English breakfast available so he was dishing up undercooked food as he could clearly see people were getting annoyed and frustrated at being expected to wait. If the sausages were ready there were no eggs, if the eggs were ready there were no bacon, on and on this went, never a full choice available. The mushrooms were massively undercooked and still white, the hash browns had hard bits of potato inside, undercooked, the sausages were soft and mushy inside, inedible and actually quite dangerous. There were no pastries at one time and they were very slow to arrive when it was pointed out. There was no bread either. No cutlery anywhere! The waitress was walking around like a very slow, I mean really slow, zombie. She never spoke, her demeanor never changed, she never acknowledged anything or indeed anybody, just seemed 'spaced out'. As a result no-one in my party of 9 had a full English breakfast. I paid a total of £99 for us all to eat there that morning and it totally ruined what was expected to be a nice experience for everyone, instead it was an absolute disaster. The manager very reluctantly gave me a partial refund after I complained however I felt very let down. My advice for management at this hotel is give the chef help and replace the waitress, give her something else to do as she should not be in a customer facing position. Have the cutlery on display so people can help themselves if it's not on the table. I will stay here again but will probably eat breakfast elsewhere.

The staff was very friendly and the manager Alex helped us with everything we needed. The food was amazing. Rooms so clean and comfortable. Everything was wonderful during our visit there. many congratulations I would love to visit again. I am very satisfied.

I love they mattress 😅 I was jumping on the bed and no noise from the bed frame. The space is good the bath is clean. I liked my stay rest well. There is smart tv for entertainment coffee and kettle. Every basic what needs for a good start. Staff member was helpful.

Brilliant location in terms of access to Central London with New Southgate train station an 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. Additionally the close proximity of the car park for the hotel and reasonable price of £7 per 24-hours. Our only negatives are that it is on a very busy main road and the windows don't seem as good as other Premier Inn's in similar locations as you could hear the traffic constantly. I imagine the rooms at the back of the hotel are much quieter, had we known we'd of asked for this. The bathroom of room 107, was the dirtiest bathroom I've ever come across in a Premier Inn, the floor blatantly hadn't been cleaned and the shower head had a mind of it's own, due to the limescale blocking the spouts and it being broken. Unfortunately never saw a member of staff during our stay to advise, so left a note in hope that it's much nicer for the next guests. Overall we'd still absolutely stay in this hotel again, for it's transport links and parking options but would request a quiet room and hope that the shower works better.

We were going to Alexandra Palace for a gig. This hotel was a great base for the night. Wonderfully clean everywhere. Great bathroom, very comfy bed. Very quiet all night even considering a lot of people at the gig were staying and you can sometimes some noisy people. And the breakfast in the morning was fabulous too!

Fantastic trip to this premier inn staff couldn’t do enough for you very quiet and comfortable food really good a really good location with parking and extremely good transport links into the centre of London also plenty of local amenities

I cannot state how much of an awful experience I had at this hotel! The lady who checked me in was lovely but after that !!! HORRENDOUS! The rooms smell musty, no windows can be opened to allow for any outside air. Heating would intermittently work !! And the worse thing was the fire alarm going off for 2 days straight !! 7am in the morning and the following day 6am then 7 times after that ! Gentleman at reception was rude and very unhelpful! And said it was not his problem. It’s also very difficult to find and not very well signposted which to be honest is probably for the best ! Don’t waste your money there are better properties in the area to stay at ! Which I will do on my next business trip.
